Great Fall Day
Weather was finally below 90 degrees with a light breeze.
Course was in great condition, as usual.
As a single, one never knows how the players I'm paired with will be compatible, but we all seemed to be about the same skill level and played from the same tees.
Pace was a little slow, but picked up on the back nine.
Overall it was an enjoyable round.
Fun Course
Fairways and greens very well cared for. Nice layout and challenging from blue/gold combo tees. Very peaceful place to play goff.

Just the right amount of challenge for my game,really fun time.

Greens unmowed.
Faiways and rough overwatered.
unusual for best keep 27 holes in Sacramento area.

Guys in pro shop were super nice and the course was in amazing condition. I’ll definitely be back!

Great course with challenging holes. Greens are true and well kept. Sand traps could be better racked

Well maintained bunkers were a little shallow but greens and fairways well watered greens had great pace fun course
Sand traps
I have to say this is typically one of my favorite courses in the area.. My one issue lately has been the sand traps.. I do not understand how a course that has the nerve to charge $75 per round, can neglect the sand traps the way they are at Timber Creek!! In my opinion, sand traps are an integral part of golf, and yes, a player should be penalized for ending up in one. But any decent player should have no issue recovering from that trap. A fair trap that is. Well, in the case if Timber creek, that's not possible. Their greenside traps are either rock hard, from not having been maintained in months, or over saturated with water. Several even had weeds growing in them. Ergo, without a bit of extreme luck, it's nearly impossible to recover. This should not be!
Please, please instruct your greens keepers to take some time to maintain the traps, if not all, at least the Greenside traps!
Great course, bunkers need huge update
This is a challenging course always in great shape.
However the hunkers have zero sand in them. Overly penal.
For how much they charge bunkers should have sand, no way to get under the ball.
The day was perfect, course challenging yet forgiving and in great condition
