One of the best layouts in Sacramento
This is one of my favorite courses in Sacramento. I love the variety in the holes as far as water, features, dog legs, etc. it really makes you think.
Nice Course
The weather was great and the course was a solid 4 star. I would play it again.

Weekend Warrior
The pace of play was painfully slow. Our group waited on every shot started on the 2nd hole. The group in front was at least one hole behind pace through 17 holes. The marshal driving around was more interested in watch the football game on his phone instead of doing his job to manage pace of play on the course.
Good shape
Course was in good shape even the day after overnight rain. Always like the layout with some challenging holes.
Love the course, always in great shape, props to the greenskeeper and maintenance staff for doing such a great job.

What a fun course. Amazing layout and good condition. The greens were in great shape.
Nice course
Overall, great conditions. One green/hole was closed, which would have been nice to know prior. One or two greens had issues, but overall excellent.
Nice Day for Golf
Beautiful Day... The course was in pretty good condition. It has been better. They are in the process of removing sand traps around some of the greens. Hope they will maintain some of the other ones a little better. Some are like hard pan with no sand.
Not what it used to be......
This used to be one one of the nicest courses in the greater Sacramento area with one of the snottiest pro shops. Pro shop remains the same, but the course is thrashed.Bunkers mud and dirt, fairways in horrible shape. #4 is a construction zone. Literally, the hole is closed.
On the plus side, the Marshal I talked to was very nice. I'd avoid this course for the foreseeable future.
I put the many times and this was the worst conditions I’ve ever seen it was a beautiful golf course. Fairways were under repair or needed repairs and greens had been punched a couple weeks before, not one true roll, your ball was military left right left right and bouncing couple inches high. Pro shop didn’t say a word when taking my money!
End of summer conditions
Summer has beat this place up . Just punched the greens which we knew about. Fairways pretty rough and bunkers not good at all. The guys in pro shop and staff on course all friendly. Try it again come spring
The course has many sand traps guarding the pin locations
Fun course to play on because the pace of play runs very smoothly which allows you to stay focused on your game. I be will be booking more tee times in the near future .
