Awesome layout
Front 9. Lakes then back 9 woods
Course in great condition including sand in green side bunkers
Consistently A Good Course
Well maintained as always.
Green running true.
People respect this. Always fix your ball mark and one extra.
One of the best public fee play facilities
In Northern Cal.
Best course in Roseville
I have played a lot of courses around the area and this is by far the best. Well kept and staff is always friendly.
A Very Good Experience
Front 9 good but back 9 excellent. New driving range and chipping area are great improvements over predecessor.
Only criticism is to much golf cart confusion in and around the pro shop and restaurant. Seniors driving full speed and coming from all angles makes for anxious self preservation.
Overall very good experience and I would recommend to my friends.
Timber Creek among best in Sacramento area
I really like this course; always the best maintained course in Sacramento area. First 9 is mostly open with some water in play. 2nd 9 has more trees and narrow fairways on a few holes. Not overly long (6,050 yards from Blue tees) but just enough trouble to keep you honest. A couple of bare spots in fairways and green repairs going on but otherwise great condition including bunkers, etc. Newly revamped practice area with excellent chipping area included (sand shots too). Putting green much slower than actual greens due to it being new (now mowing aggressively yet?). Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Rudest people that works there. Zero customer service.
Zero customer service. Horrible people working there with staff trained to be rude.
Good course for walking
Timber Creek is one of the few area courses that’s suitable for walking. Many of the local courses have ping transfers from green to tee box, but Timber Creek is laid out well. Greens are coming in nicely after punching about 6 weeks ago. Only issue is people not fixing their pitch marks. Although this issue is not solely limited to Timber Creek. It’s a problem at all courses. Anyways, good course and it’s in pretty good condition.
Overall in great shape
Good day at Timber Creek. Greens are overall in great shape other than some people not fixing their pitch marks. Only part of one green that was in pretty significantly bad shape, maybe due to a virus or something. But otherwise, it was fun playing there and would go back.
Course is coming back
The greens are coming back, but why can’t the clowns that actually hit the greens fix their ball marks? Maybe they are not used to hitting the greens and don’t know that you fix yours plus one. Come on people, it’s easy.
Course is in great shape
Overall, Timber Creek is in great shape. A couple of greens had spots that looked like they were diseased. But only a couple. The greens are quick and true. Most people playing there, repair their ball marks. If you’re not in the fairway, you are assured to be in grass. Didn’t hit the ball anywhere that wasn’t grass. Except under a couple of oak trees, outside of the rough. Overall, great course, great layout, I played as a single with a threesome and finished in 4 hours. If you’re looking for a course that isn’t difficult with wide open fairways, reasonably priced, with nice greens that run true and don’t bounce all the way to the cup, this is the course to play. Also, brand new practice facilities.
GREAT Course & Practice Facilities
I absolutely loved this place, huge chipping greens, practice bunker, putting green, and cool course.
Greens Need Help
Greens were aerated almost three weeks ago, and are in desperate need to be rolled and mowed. There are a lot of bare patches on the greens currently. To be completely honest I’ve been golfing at Timber Creek regularly for about five years now and by far this is the worst I’ve ever seen the greens. Also the bunkers also need some attention. There are a lot of rocks from the size of pebbles to rocks the size of a golf ball, not really sure why, but that really needs to be addressed. The course is in good shape otherwise
Excellent Course
Conditions the best in the area. A beautiful day and course.
Beautiful course
Played with 2 locals who were incredibly nice. We’ll maintained, friendly staff.
