One of the best 9 hole courses
For a 9 hole course this was a long course with a wide variety, couple of par 5’s , couple of par 3’s and rest par 4. Greens were very well kept, will definitely go back
Great place to play
Had another great time at this course I love we have more daylight and can play later I played at 5:39 got on a little early but still got to see sunset!!! Love it here
Top Conditions
Fairways Tees and Greens in great condition.
Still the best open for fee play facility in Northern California.
Post rainfall round.
I had a great time getting out in the sun. There was some standing water on a couple fairways and of course found myself in it. I went out as a single and was paired up with a nice older guy that plays here a couple times a week. I decided to walk and found the course easily walkable. I’ll definitely play here again.
Love it here
I love the place… especially in the late afternoon!! The pace of play is great and the greens are challenging!!! I play once a week here and love it!!!
Best 9 Hole
Play this course a few times a year as I like to play different courses. Always in great shape, a course anyone can play. Highly recommend this course.
great course for me BUT slow play see below
There was an older beginning playing in front of our foursome and he was extremely SLOW ...5 practice swings before hitting the ball 20 yards...A marshall OR call to the clubhouse would have helped to educate this beginner and make us happier for the round
First time out this year
For the winter we've been thru so far, this course was in excellent condition and very walk able. No wet standing water greens very good and pace of play excellent
Always a great round
I’ve played Sierra Pines many times and will continue to do so.
Kid checking in has great personality!
Course is great when they don’t have the young high school kid checking you in. Definitely thinks his job requires more authority than it really does. Never going back again
Great round
Fun course. Completely open yet challenging. Great people playing g the course. Pace was excellent.
First time. Would do it again
Nice staff. Great pace of play though it was early a bit icy. Just prefer it to play in golf course communities
Another great round
Started at 2:03 in sunny 61 degrees in a foursome that was kind of slow. At the 4th hole we allowed a single to play through so I jumped in with him, at that point the pace of play was awesome. Course was in great shape, greens were predictable. Love this course.
Not worth the $
$23 + $9 per person for a cart +$5 “convenience” fee = $74 for 18 holes, starting at 3pm on a non holiday weekend Is a horrible value. So many other better local courses for $50 or less mid week with a cart
