Challenge
Course was in good condition. even though the greens had just been punched and sanded the course still played well. Very enjoyable, and worth playing again.
Coarse is looking good
The grass is looking real good and the greens are great.

played a month ago and the fairways were rough, month later much improved, greens in excellent shape
No thanks.
Course conditions aren’t bad but all the equipment is old and crappy. My range balls were coated in grass and mud. The bunker rakes look like they are 100 years old, with 1 tooth every four inches. Hard to rake the sand like that. The carts are disgustingly dirty and beat up. My cart died right at the 7th green and no one would answer at the club house. Fortunately there was an employee teeing off at the 17th and he gave me his cart.
Flat but in great condition
The layout is nothing to get excited about - it is almost completely flat and nearly every hole runs parallel to the next - but the course is in remarkably good condition, from the tee boxes, to the fairways, to the greens, which were fast but fair.
Very good bent-grass greens
Pace of play for Sun. aft. 3.5hrs-walking! Fairways pretty scrappy; need lots of work. Some bunkers have no rakes and existing rakes are falling apart and somewhat dangerous to handle.
Greens are fabulous.
Course under major reconstruction.
Need to let people know when they call that there is major reconstruction going on. Fairways are a mess. Very little sand in bunkers. Greens are shaggy. This is all fine if you let people know before they show. Yes you may lose people today... But for those that show up without being told you lose them for life over the dishonesty.

greens are getting better, still some sand on a few, fairways are a mess right now, hit a 3 wood and it plugs like a wedge shot, hopefully in a month or so and it should be in good shape
This was one awful experience..
When a course is being completely torn apart for renovation, it would be nice of you, ""Golf Now",to let us,the unsuspecting members, know about it when booking! .
despite the recent aeration and sanding the course retained its extremely challenging characteristics. love the challenge.
Advanced notice of the condition of the course
I like this course, I am not willing to pay for a round that I would not have done if I knew the course condition.
If I knew every green had enough sand on it that
your step made prints that a ball would not roll over, I would have went somewhere else.
the old Country Club has seen better days, it would seem new owner has a big up hill battle to one fix course, two get someone to play there...Old members at first did their best to dis-interest the public from playing there, now the public is the only chance this course has of staying around....I would be afraid once course is in better shape price will go up and number of rounds may not be enough to make ends meet....fingers crossed they make it because every other course within 15 miles is on the way out.....
