tough greens
hadn't played this course in over 10 years..... was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the greens
they were small,fast and challenging
I got a hole in one on hole #2 which was a bonus
lots of fun and I will return
Great Practice
This course was a surprise to me for how challenging it was. It is a very fun course that requires smart shots and will allow you to use the entire bag! Definitely will be coming back!
Fun Course
This a bit of secret jewel. On the surface, it appears to be a pretty straight forward layout, but the greens are tiny and fast. Tee boxes need some attention.
Short but challenging
Short but challenging course that winds through a narrow canyon with creek offering ever present obstacle and sloping fairways. Greens in good condition and difficult to read. Good value and practice for short game, bring extra balls!
Tecolote
Always a fun course to play. Some dry areas, but most were not in play.
Greens were fast, as usual, some front pins were almost unfair if you didn't have local knowledge. The starter warned us.
Always backs up around the fifth hole, but clears out by 8 or 9. Tough stretch for those who haven't played before.
Normally plays in 3-4 hour range. today at mid-day was 3 1/2.
executive challenge
this is a tough course but fun...bring a lot of balls if you stink because this place is narrow....for a mid range golfer...you will be challenged
Great bukers
The bunkers were best I ever seen for tecolote. Greens were fair and challenging on 15 and 16 th hole. Tee boxes need work
Good Challenge
Challenging with the narrow fairways and changes in elevations. Love the challenge the golf course offers. The pace was a little rough in the beginning but it progressed as the day went along.
Tecolote
Good short course. Used to play here often. Still looks hood and will test your short game . Great fun. Had my 10 year old daughter and she had a blast.
Cool Course
Hit em straight and have fun. A great executive course for the price. It's well managed and in fair shape, a place to take your teenage children who are looking for a challenge and can afford it.
tc
course was in relatively good shape considering heavy
play but other golfers need to be more considerate
and rake the sandtraps. also my granddaughter was
struck by a ball from the group behind us
Fun!
Mostly 7s and 9s off the tee but a couple of long ones ... many fairways are narrow so AIM is important ... some interesting holes up and down hills ... very fun and friendly staff, will definitely return.
Challenging.....and Wet
Tecolote Canyon offers a very challenging round of tight par threes, hidden greens, and elevation changes. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and always maintained a professional demeanor. The course conditions were pretty poor. Almost all the teeboxes were chewed up, vast patches of dead grass and dirt where on every hole. Pace of the greens varied widely. And it was WET. I’m not sure if it had rained heavily prior to my group getting there, but it was muddy and puddles littered the cart path. Being in a Canyon, I could see how drainage could be an issue, but my muddy golf shoes didn’t appreciate the conditions as they were. Overall, it was still a good experience and I would probably go again if asked. For $20, beggars can’t be choosers.
Tecolote canyon is the best!
Excellent course with the friendliest staff you’ll find in the golf industry.
Nice course
Greens and fringe great condition. I see new bunkers , which is a plus. Tee box needs work
