Nostalgic

Come for the view but keep any golf expectations at home. Greens were riddled with divots! Yes, divots, not ball marks but divots. There was no clean putt the entire round. Fairways were nonexistent as the grass was as long as the rough.

Greenskeeper/mower decided to not wait for us to play the hole and literally mowed around the green while we were putting.

The starter refused to let me and my son, who drove together in 1 car, share a golf cart because my son, without his license, cannot prove we were in the same household. Even added that if a marshall sees two golf bags in 1 cart, the cart will be confiscated! What a ridiculous rule in my opinion! Were they just after getting cart revenue?!!

I last played this course 30 years ago and this is where I first tee’d it off as a youngster. I just wanted to share the experience with my son. Pay the starter and just wait for the 17th hole (signature hole), with the Golden Gate bridge as the backdrop.

Good course that needs better care

Lincoln Park is a good course with challenging and enjoyable holes.

It needs work on the maintenance.

The greens are lumpy and filled with bumps and divots.

It is a shame the course is not better maintained because it is a good course

The Most Beautiful Goat Hill in Town

I’ve always loved this course as it boasts some of the most spectacular views of GG Bridge, Mt Tam, and the headlands on the northern side of the bridge. Though today had lingering fog everywhere at least the smell of smoke was less intrusive at this course than other places in the Bay Area. Greens played slow today; it appears that they just aerated the greens and added sand. I’m glad for the upkeep, I just wish I had a golf cart to carry me to each hole.

Pot hole greens

Course has AMAZING potential but lack of care keep this mini Harding park unplayable

If you like walking up n down mountains then this course is for you cause they don't have golf/push carts for anything after 11am

Fairway and rough are the same thing here

Leave your putter at home cause the greens need more patch work then the city streets of SF

The views are sick tho

COULDA

Lincoln Park, could be such a gem if the City gave a hoot.. it has an awesome layout going to the cliffs overlooking the south side of the Golden Gate entrance to SF Bay, with truly spectacular bay views. The inland holes have great city views as well. The layout is short but demanding, the backside par threes are all over 200 yds- from the whites!

All the makings of a spectacular course are there. BUT and it is a big but indeed, the course suffers from neglect. The tee boxes are mangled, the fairways and green sides are pretty barren, the domed greens are completely pockmarked and poorly mowed. Pace varies but if you have a slow group in front of you, don’t expect a Marshall to speed up play, there isn’t one around.

This course needs to go the way Harding park did and be taken over a golf management company that will rehabilitate it. At $33 for an SFresident with a card, it’s not horrendous, but you really get what you pay for. Personally, I would not mind paying more if it were adequately maintained. It could be that good.

Excellent Course in SF Historic Area

This course is easier than Presidio, nice open fairways, long Par 3s, challenging Par 4s. There were a TON of Urban hikers strolling through the course, walking on cart paths which made it a bit distracting. Great course for the price! Will Definitely Play Again

City Gem

The greens aren’t good but this course is a city classic. Always a fun round and nothing can beat the view from 17.
