Lincoln Park Review Today

Very nice scenery with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Staff is very nice but the course conditions are the same as your local dog park. There are dry spots everywhere and the grass is different on every hole. It is impossible to tell the difference between the rough and fairway. I had fun with one of my friends playing but would not recommend for any player.

Good for a public course in SF

Not a bad course for what it is. Allows for some great sights. The signs can be quite confusing at times. Couldn’t find the next hole a couple of times and had to ask for help. All in all, it’s a good enough course to play and have fun.

Avoid

One of the worst courses I’ve ever played. Needs a far better maintenance and also seriously needs a way to restrict public from walking around the course. So many tourists/dog walkers, practically feels like a public park.

Great scenery though. It is a shame such great view is being wasted.

Course was soft from the rain. So the balls plugged in the fairway and you couldn't find them.

Nice San Francisco course

Played Lincoln Park for the first time, and quite enjoyed it. It is a short course, but hilly and had lots of unique holes. Walked the 18 holes and enjoyed the day. Nice course that is well maintained.

Needs to be taken over by private golf company

It is so sad that this course with the most beautiful setting in the world is allowed to go to seed. The staff is rude and those charged with care of the course spend more time talking then working. I assume the course is run and maintained by municipal employees that could care less what the public wants. The course should be contracted out by the City to a private golf operator who has a financial interest in making players happy and making the course as beautiful as the setting.

A very good course not in great condition

Lincoln Park is a very good course with many interesting and challenging holes.. The weather can be foggy and windy as the course in near the ocean but today the weather was perfect.

The only drawback is the course is not well maintained. The greens are full of bumps and ruts . The fairways are not in good condition. Worst of all there are no yardages markers!

Birthday at Lincoln Park

As most locals probably agree, Lincoln Park Golf Course is a a gem that the city should bring up to date or lease out to another facilitator who can bring it up to the condition it deserves. Views alone make this an iconic SF venue for tourists and locals looking for a great day of golf.

Beautiful scenery

We did not get use Golf Now rate. Running late and called the course to let them know. Said no problem, would honor rate, moved us from 11:50 to 12:50 but upon arrival made us pay full rate and said we had to take up refund with golf now.

Help?

Tough Course

I don’t know if the white flowers to hide your ball, or umaimtained fairways are a style of course, but it was tough. Views were nice, but the course was poorly maintained.

Terrible course. Terrible price. 1 cool view.

This course was abysmal. Very Expensive ($46 green fee and a hidden $32 cart fee). $76 to play that course is so not worth it.

There are also no hole markers. We played the course and we actually didn’t know what hole we were on because there was nothing on the hole to tell us what the hole was.

Clovers everywhere, hairy fairways, and poor greens.

If you want to spend that money play a TPC course Or something halfway decent at least.

Will not come back.
