Have not played Lincoln Park in over 20 years. Brought back great memories and enjoyed my round. Will be back soon.
Allister would be disappointed
Dont wear your best attire or shoes when playing this course. lots of areas that are damp, wet and muddy. tee boxes barely have grass, greens are really small and most fairways are undulated. if youre a beginner, want to work on your shot or lies and/or a tourist wanting to see these views, then this is the course for you. in comparison to a 4-5 star golf course, this is 2 stars at best. the current conditions are very good in comparison to past years but cant hold a candle to poplar creek or presidio. fairly priced, but in my opinion this course is for newbs or advance golfers looking to kill time.
Great time had by all!
This course hits the mark for a public golf course! Great views, great staff, and generally nice greens. If you have a San Francisco resident card it’s much cheaper!
Excellent course is Lincoln Park
Lincoln is an excellent course with many challenging holes.
The hills are steep and side hill and uphill lies are the norm.
The staff was very accomodating and got us out early.
We played in a little over 3 hours which is fabulous!
Great Scenic course
Back nine is spectacular specially 1617 with a view of Golden gate rich
Lincoln Park Review Today
Very nice scenery with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Staff is very nice but the course conditions are the same as your local dog park. There are dry spots everywhere and the grass is different on every hole. It is impossible to tell the difference between the rough and fairway. I had fun with one of my friends playing but would not recommend for any player.
Good for a public course in SF
Not a bad course for what it is. Allows for some great sights. The signs can be quite confusing at times. Couldn’t find the next hole a couple of times and had to ask for help. All in all, it’s a good enough course to play and have fun.
Avoid
One of the worst courses I’ve ever played. Needs a far better maintenance and also seriously needs a way to restrict public from walking around the course. So many tourists/dog walkers, practically feels like a public park.
Great scenery though. It is a shame such great view is being wasted.
Course was soft from the rain. So the balls plugged in the fairway and you couldn't find them.
Nice San Francisco course
Played Lincoln Park for the first time, and quite enjoyed it. It is a short course, but hilly and had lots of unique holes. Walked the 18 holes and enjoyed the day. Nice course that is well maintained.
Needs to be taken over by private golf company
It is so sad that this course with the most beautiful setting in the world is allowed to go to seed. The staff is rude and those charged with care of the course spend more time talking then working. I assume the course is run and maintained by municipal employees that could care less what the public wants. The course should be contracted out by the City to a private golf operator who has a financial interest in making players happy and making the course as beautiful as the setting.
A very good course not in great condition
Lincoln Park is a very good course with many interesting and challenging holes.. The weather can be foggy and windy as the course in near the ocean but today the weather was perfect.
The only drawback is the course is not well maintained. The greens are full of bumps and ruts . The fairways are not in good condition. Worst of all there are no yardages markers!
