Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club

I was shocked by how nice of a course this is. Pulling into the parking lot I already knew the facility was going to be very nice. The course is challenging but also very playable. The grass is very healthy and the whole course is green and very well maintained. I will be playing this course many more times in the future.

A great Troon experience! Although a semi-private club, the staff at Sterling Grove made me feel like a private member from bag drop to outside service! The practice facilities were as good as any Scottsdale 5 star club/resort, offering exact conditions as the course itself. We had a 1PM tee time and played in 4 hours. Extremely generous fairways with plenty of bunkers but the sand is excellent to play out of and the greens were a true challenge. Plenty of slopes on the greens but very manageable for the experienced putter. Would run out to play it again!

10/10 experience. Course was in great condition. Course was wide open so didn’t have to wait behind any groups. I unfortunately don’t remember the older gentleman working bag drop, but he was the nicest golf course employee I’ve ever encountered. Great experience all around.

Great course, nice views, But the greens are typical Nicklaus / Rediculous.

Overall a nice place to experience. Clean, new, and friendly staff make it worth the drive. Nicklaus design courses are always a challenge with lots of sand, water, and very difficult greens make it so.

This courses looks nice, but wow...very expensive. Also, the website says, "nestled in the foothills of the white tank mountains" This is just a lie. It's near the hills, but not even adjacent. It's FLAT FLAT FLAT.

Sterling Grove had a great layout and is in very good condition. A lot of people complain about the tough greens, but that is one of the things that makes this course unique. You have to play your shots to the correct area of the greens. Very good variety of holes, not boring to play at all. There are risk/reward holes and plenty of challenge no matter which tees you play.

My first time playing and was very impressed with everything. Pro shop and course staff were exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. Golf course was in great condition. Greens were smooth and fast. It's challenging but fair. One of the better Nicklaus courses I've played.

Overall very nice, greens shapes and pi placements can’t be borederline, like this isn’t castles n coasters putt putt.

After loading clubs on cart, attendant drove it around the clubhouse to park. He intentionally sat directly on top my hat. After the round there was no attendant in sight. Carts are not allowed in the parking lot. Carts have to stay behind clubhouse, so my Wife and I had to carry them around to the front bag drop. It was 110 degrees. Someone should have been there to take them to the front if you don't allow carts to be driven there.Apparently Sterling Grove pays high enough wages that the employees don't need or want tips! Course was in great condition.

Hardest thing about the golf courses. The greens have a bunch slopes on them false fronts.

My son is playing on the OUAZ golf team so I wanted to check out the course. Loved playing there, will be back for certain, it’s beautiful, fair, challenging and has everything for a memorable round, thanks and see you again.

This is my favorite course! The course is always in great shape. The greens are fast and can be tricky but that makes it fun. The staff is awesome! Everyone is helpful, caring, friendly and attentive…very customer service oriented!
