Typical Muni Course - Nothing Special
This is your typical muni course, decent prices, fairly long and flat with a moderate difficulty. Tends to be crowded with slower play. Decent place for intermediate players.
HOT HOT HOT !!!
Don't know why I decided to walk in 100* weather. Was exhausted by the 12th hole. Course was in OK condition, would be great if there wasn't so many unfixed ball marks on the greens.
A three-star muni
There's nothing to hate about SJ muni. I'm just not sure there's much to love, either. It is as straight forward as a layout and golf experience can get. The conditions were solid. No complaints.
Hole-in-One!
The course was in good shape and it was great getting a Hole-in-One on the 132 yard par 3 hole #4. The ball was a high flyer that landed 5" from the hole at 7 O'clock and then hit the cushion in the hole and rolled about four feet left of the hole at the 9 O'clock position. It was too bad that the cushion was in the hole, but my sense is that there was a 65% chance that the ball really would have gone in based on where the ball landed and where it ended up.
