Golfer Reviews
Good potential but has problems
This looked like a good course and a fun play when I first saw it online. It has potential to be a great little place, but I think it needs to improve in a few areas. These areas include the green speeds and slopes, some green side slopes, one very oddly laid out hole and at least one bunker. The greens were a bit too fast for the amount of slopes they had. This caused almost all of the left or right misses on approach shots to be nearly impossible. For example, on one of the closing par 3s on the twelve hole layout we played was an ovular green with the narrow side facing the tee. I missed my tee shot slightly to the left of the green. I found that the green sharply bowls on each side of the hole. I did not think I could spin my shot back off or the far bank or stop it if I landed it on the downslope. It seemed I had no alternative options so I opened the face of my 60 degree wedge and hit a big flop onto the start of the downslope. It hit the green where I was looking to and rolled all the way to the other side of the bowl with an extremely fast putt coming back. I merely breathed on this putt and it went about 8 feet past. Many other holes were like this with almost no possibility of getting up and down after a left or right miss. The best option on lots of these holes seemed to be laying up short of the green. If the greens were slowed down, most of these up and downs would have been fairly attainable with 2 good shots. The ninth hole of the twelve hole layout we played had a steep greenside slope that funneled directly to an out of bounds area. This could hold up play and again does not allow for a recovery. I am not at all opposed to steep greenside slopes, but certainly not sloping from a pace off of the green to out of bounds. One hole on the 12 hole layout was a dogleg par 4 with trees and a fairway bunker type thing on the right. I hit a straight drive about 250 yards from the black tees into the center of the fairway. I was blocked from a straight shot to the green by trees. It seemed that a shot of exactly 280 yards to have a shot to the green without being in the crossing section of the fairway bunker thing. I hit a slice 6 iron from about 165 yards slightly left of the green into another seemingly impossible up and down. Finally, on the last hole of the 12 hole layout, I found the bunker on the left of the green. The shot seemed nearly impossible as the green that resembled a sloping basketball court went dramatically away from me to a point that I did not think I could hold the green. The sand was fluffy at the top and very firm at the bottom a little under the surface. The other bunkers on the course that I was in were good though. Positives were that the fairways were great, greens rolled true, the site had lots of potential, a good idea for the structure of the course and the practice facilities were great. Overall, it needs some improvement in some areas, but has potential to be great.
Great course
#1 for the year. Best venue I have seen. Conditions were perfect Greens fast, fairways lush. Plenty of distance. Overall excellent would do it again.
Wonky Layout
I played this course when it was 18 holes, then they changed it to a par 3 course, now they have nine holes and six par three holes, three of which are used to create a twelve hole course. $65 for twelve holes is pretty step compared to other places around and the free burger doesn't make up for it.

May have been the best I’ve played in a long time I’ve played around the world thanks again my compliments to the staff .
Enjoyable Trek
In Fla for a week of golfing with brothers and father celebrating his 96th birthday. (Who will also play every round played and will play well). Having only played 2 rounds , poorly, this year my first outing on this trip was exceptionally bad and was very discouraging . So in lieu of a scheduled off day my father suggested that we get to the practice range and then play 9 holes. It was a marvelous afternoon, notably for the improved golf resulting from my father’s tips on the range, but equally for the course. The 9 holes we played was a nice combination of par3’s, par4’s, and par 5’s. The course was in good shape approaching great as weather gets warm and offered plenty of challenges to work on the game. Greatly enjoyed and will book another round on this trip.
Great Track for all ages and handicaps
I definitely would recommend this for the whole family.
Different set of tees can create a challenge for all skill level.
Buy plenty of water at check in there was no beverage carts and I believe only one water fountain that I recalled.
Greens were in great shape especially for February.
Hidden Gem!
This course is a hidden gem! Located right around the corner from Sawgrass this 9 hole course is a ton of fun. Course is in phenomenal shape year round, greens are always rolling fast and true. My favorite thing about this course is the 6 hole par 3 course they call the Beer Loop. Grab a drink and play some laid back golf! On Friday’s they host skins games where you can win a skin and make some serious money. Free beers and golf, what’s better than that! Stick around after the skins game and hangout on the patio where they have a music, full liquor bar and great vibes. Best atmosphere in town, definitely worth checking out.
