Money on Course Well Spent
Course continues to improve. The new par 3 will be a challenge. Cart paths are excellent. Course improvement plan and its implementation is impressive.
Still needs work
There needs to be a new drainage system. The course stays wet somehow even after four days without rain.
Wet course
Decent layout but should have listened to the earlier reviews noting poor drainage. The course was very wet and lost a few balls because they stuck in the ground and couldn’t find them. Some of the greens were still in the middle of some repair. If I paid more than $30 to play I would have been more frustrated but about what I’d expect for that cost.
Getting better by a minute
Since the city of Rincon purchased Lost Plantation Golf course, it has gotten much better. The city has invested money time equipment and labor into making the course better. Every time I play there, I can see things are getting better. They recently replaced all of the crumbling asphaltcart paths with new wider concrete paths, they’ve cut a lot of trees to allow more sunlight on the greens. They’re rebuilding some of the par three holes, added drains to the sand traps, etc..
overall I’ll give them two thumbs up. Good job city of Rincon.
Nice place to play
Wet and muddy. Rained the day before and was cart path only. They had new cart paths and gps in the carts. It looks like they redid the fairways. It should be very nice next year. I would play again.

Good for the price, always seems to be getting some sort of maintenance.
Great Value
The course was in very good shape. They actually have cart paths now, which is new. Greens are great and not that fast. Excellent practice areas and all of it is easy on the eyes. Excellent value for the price! I live close by and will be going back for sure. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Nice layout. Friendly staff, Great value. It was hot and the course was not crowded. Course is undergoing or has undergone a great rehab. The greens were quicker than a month ago and are in pretty good condition.

THE COURSE IS IN THE BEST SHAPE I HAVE EVER SEEN IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Not good
Check in staff, very grumpy, no organization at course resulted in 5 hrs 45 minutes to play and that's after skipping 2 holes, 5 ball playing , plus singles and threesome, instead of being paired up , tee boxes not good and Bunkers wow so bad just dirt and weeds,
TLC, needs and a Starter
Greens are decent and fairways, Bunkers are the worst anywhere......tee boxes. poor. There is no organization at this course, played on a Sunday morning, no groups paired up together, ie 2some,than a couple of singles, and a 5 some, it was a cluster, F...... and over 5hrs 20 minutes to play and that was with us missing 2 holes...Not impressed
