Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Not a bad course
Things you need to consider if you want to play Riverview. Because it's located in Orange County, this is one of the best deals under fifty dollars on the weekends. The course is in decent shape but no where near other courses that charge more. The fairways require a lot of attention. The greens are okay but would be better if golfers repaired their divots. Also, due to the low rates, Riverview attracts golfers who just starting out in the game or they're just too cheap to go to more expensive course. Either way, expect to have long waits in between holes.
Great course layout
Challenging but fun course to play. Elevation changes and holes that cross over the River. Play the drainage slopes and stay out of the sand. Best practice putting green
Where is your Marshal
Pace of ply was horrendous. Groups taking their time in front of us. Greens are full of divots. Tee boxes are mangled. Definitely not worth 38 dollars a person
Great Track
This was a really fun little layout that zig-zags across the river and up and down the banks. The elevation changes make for interesting challenges and a fun round. The conditions were excellent. Fairways were not patchy at all, and the greens rolled much truer than other courses I've played in this price range. The breakfast burritos from the snack bar were also fantastic. I will definitely be back.

Had a great time playing this course! Course is well taken care of and has some challenging shots! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Ps great warm up putting green and driving range right next to the first tee!

Fun course!! Tuff layout elevated greens keeps you honest. Would go back for sure.
Good day at River View
The greens are truly superior for a well-used public course. Average players are challenged, but my friends who are very good golfers normally navigate the place and do exceptionally well. I've played off and on here for years - the staff is friendly, the layout is interesting, the end of round beers are cold, and as a bonus for families: they have a HUGE 18 hole putting green for your children, grandchildren, and golfers alike.
Condition of course getting better.
Besides some rude slow play, this place is legit. Fairways are in way better shape than they were 6 months ago. Greens are clean and soft. Tee boxes are beat up, but oh well. Great course for the price. Wish they had a full time Marshall to keep pace normal.

Course condition was very good!! I enjoyed my round today. I will be back.
