If you get a deal, it’s well worth it
Course is in decent shape, greens were a little slow but most likely just needed to be cut, in good shape overall. ~2 hours for nine holes pace of play. Great clubhouse with bar and food truck there permanently.
Great course for beginners and short game tune-up
This is the perfect course for beginners! Check in was efficient (pre-paid online,) but not very welcoming. COVID-19 protocol appeared to be in place. All of the tee boxes are pretty beat up and the bunkers could use a bit more sand, but these are some pretty remarkable greens considering the amount of play Pruneridge gets. Pace of play was on the slow side, but again, this place is more for beginners (or 25+ handicappers.) we had to wait about five minutes at each tee box, yet the player assistant came over to us on the 5th green to scold us for being a full hole behind! Huh?
Great Beginner Course
Pruneridge Golf Course layout is great for those starting out golf as there aren’t many obstacles. Pace of play can be slow at times, but overall great course!
Perfect for beginners
A great beginner track! Check in was efficient, but not very welcoming. COVID-19 protocol appeared to be in place. The tee boxes are pretty beat up and the bunkers could use a bit more sand, but Pruneridge has some pretty remarkable greens considering the amount of play it gets. Pace of play was on the slow side, but again, this place is more for beginners (or 25+ handicappers.) we had to wait about five minutes at each tee box; yet the player assistant came over to us on the 5th green to scold us for being a full hole behind! Huh? When we got to the 6th tee box (par 3) the twosome in front of us was still on the green. Our threesome was pushing the twosome in front of us the entire round. Justifying his existence, I suppose.
Staff wasn’t friendly
Had a tee time today at 11 and the guy who checked us in at the first hole was very rude. He talked down to us as if we were incompetent. It really made me not want to play here anymore. He proceeded to follow us to the second hole as well. Very uncomfortable round for me
