No empathy on coronavirus times...
We go regularly to the course, at least twice a week, we couldn’t tee off today because we have a Youth in our group. He pays the regular 5 usd and we pay in full. We couldn’t add him in the group. And when we arrived the guy at the proshop already put two strangers in my group. So, the group that I know we are working together no risk of COVID, but the pro put me with two strangers and that’s is a problem, regarding COVID.. buying a New set of clubs on site is impossible and buying a bag was a quest... I payed 139 usd for a new bag adding the irresponsible attitude of the pro setting me with two strangers on my group. I need my reimbursement back because I couldn’t tee off. We went to another golf course aNd we tee off with no hassle whatsoever. And we played a great round. No more of this none sense...
we are trying to do social distancing and this mr. has no empathy for the current situation.
Another fun day
Had another fun round. The course is in great shape! It wasn't crowded so the pace of play was perfect for me. The greens were for the most part neutral. I enjoy playing here every week.
Far to slow to be enjoyable
Far too many people. 2 1/2 hours for nine holes is not enjoyable. More time stood a Pune than playing golf makes for a very unenjoyable outing.
Fun
This course is fun for most average golfers. The layout is challenging but also there are a few easy holes. The pace is just right.
On and off
This course is a blast. A few short holes, three par 4's and a few medium distance holes. You can get on and off in an hour and a half. The greens are very nice, along with the fairways. Some tee boxes are a little bit used but the majority are perfect. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
My new go to short course and practice facility
There’s nothing at all unique and thats normal for these or 30’s courses the conditions were a solid B with greens needing some help on the first cut area but overall this is my new go to practice tacitly and open till 10 pm this place is a little gem
Fun quick course to play hole number 5 is very challenging
I play this course fairly often I wish it was a little cheaper but it offers enough to keep me coming back.
Great value, great conditions
The course was in great condition. Smooth greens, lush tee-boxes and fairways. A little slow, but good value for $16!
Nicely maintained during COVID19
The course is in a much better condition than I expect. A nice peaceful round of golf.
Yes, golfing season is back!
After many months of waiting for golf season to return and this covid situation, I am happy that they let the people golf. So with that in mind I got a chance to finally play at Pruneridge for the first time. Always driven pass the establishment and saying to myself I will play here but somehow I would always forget. Very pleased that greens were smooth and we taken care of. Had the opportunity to play with a pair of strangers who happen to be a mother and daughter and I have to say we all had a great time. Definitely coming back soon.
Play during Covid-19
I booked a tee time with Golfnow hot deal right after the course is available. It works well and there are few policies for us to follow. Everyone need to reserve before going even driving range (skipping one spot) There is a guy checking In first, then follow blue arrow one way only to the driving range to talk to pro shop. Then go to the first tee to check in with a guy reviewing rules.
Back to Golf
I live 10 minutes from this course and have played it many times. I had my only ace here on Hole # 8 almost 3 years ago. There are 3 Par 4’s. and some tricky par 3’s.
Being the second day of operation following their re-opening , we didn’t know what to expect but it was very organized and all the social distancing rules were observed including the unique putting green cup mechanism. Some courses are using raised cups and when your ball hits it then you pick up. There is a lever at the cup level so you putt out and then use your putter grip to raise the ball out of the cup. . My pic was too large to upload.
Great weather, great first golf day in months.
