Tahoe Paradise Golf Course

About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

Great if you are looking for a unique experience
Course was in great shape, short a few rough greens, and some patchy fairways, however, what seemed like and oh well when we drove up, turned into a great experience! Seen nothing like it before. Would recommend to anyone looking for unique course layout, beautiful country side nestled into the landscape. Don't judge by it's cover, off the beaten path, it will challenge your iron play, narrow fairways, postage stamp greens, but had an absolute great time!
Great warm up course before you play the big boys
Since the weather has only just begun to warm up, it is fair to say it’s a little early in the season for greens and fairways to be smooth and bump less. Fun course though.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Tahoe Paradise Golf Course.
Great local course
Tahoe Paradise is a hidden gem. There's a great selection of holes, most of which have challenging shots through the trees.
It's such a great course for my iron game.
The greens are, due to the geography, always a challenge - don't end up above the hole! - but that is all part of the attraction.
Gavin and the staff are fantastic and the local's card is just the cherry on the cake.
Odd design and short course layout
We were visiting in town and saw Yelp give this course a decent rating. The fairways and tee boxes are in decent condition. However, the greens are spotty and bumpy. Additionally, the course layout has two holes with trees in front of the greens. Very odd. This course is very short and several holes are crammed together.

Rough conditions
Charging $50 to walk. Only 9 holes open. And those 9 holes are in ROUGH condition. More dead grass than live. Muddy areas.
The layout is awesome for a little executive course. Trees blocking par 3’s. Hitting PW as drive on par 4. So fun.
But charging that kind of money to walk 9 holes twice, in those conditions is criminal.

First time played here.
Nice layout, just short course but very challenging where to put your first shot. Though, I enjoyed it. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Deceptively challenging little course - walk, don’t ride!
I am a beginning golfer so I was eager to check out this executive course - wow was I in for a surprise - even though it is all par 3s and 4s, it was deceptively challenging and super fun with narrow fairways, tiny sloped greens, and even a few fun water shots. The one thing I will say is that this is definitely a course to WALK, not ride. Even though they offer golf carts, the holes are so short that you will spend more time walking to and from your cart than you would just walking and playing the course. I played by myself on a weekday, the pace of play was great (just one fast moving single ahead of me) and you can’t beat the price, especially if you can get one of the hot deals for walking the course. I’ll definitely be back!
