Nicest and most useful starter!
Just a super friendly and helpful starter (Mike) and after the reinvestment the range and course conditions were really nice
Moffett is a must play treat
Who cares about the wind. Embrace it. Beautifully groomed course. The grass is very consistant. Choice of club use will be a part of the challenge. Watering of course front 9 begins promptly by 8pm. So don’t lag if you play a late round.

An old gem … improved
I last played this about 15 years ago as a guest. The greens and bunkers are much improved and in very good condition. The fairways could use some work. The layout is a flat urban style but long and challenging.

Cool place
Interesting/cool experience to play on a Military base w/ helicopters above and airplanes on the tarmack. The course is well layed out with lots of interesting holes.
This is a fun course to play, staff very friendly. Sadly, pace of play is no longer a valued component to our great game. Even w/ tee time 10 min apart, there is just SO much slow play...5 hr 35 min round (painful).
Great greens and value
I know people comment on the winds playing at Moffett, but I played yesterday with a consistent two club wind that was extreme even for here. This course is a great value, it’s really hard to find a better place to play regularly to improve your game. As has also been noted the greens are always in great shape so you can just hit it the distance that you know you can with any particular club, and if you hit a good shot, the ball stops on the green. Because the greens are in such good shape, you can always put fairly well. Except for yesterday, when the winds were just crazy. But that again was unusual. The course did suffer a bit of damage from the heavy January rains, but it’s coming back nicely. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant has a great hamburger. I should also note that the sand in the bunkers is of a very high quality. No one wants to be hitting out of a bunker, but at least the nice sand let’s you give it your best shot.

Keeps Getting Better and Better
I’ve been playing Moffett for many years but not so much recently. Yesterdays round was very pleasant. Nice to find the Course in better shape than ever. It was very satisfying. Although the layout has not changed it’s nice to play with the real sand in the bunkers and improved tee boxes. The greens are in great shape. Definitely worth returning. If only they could tone down the wind haha
