Moffett Field Golf Club

The wind makes this course difficult. Greens in great shape with nice consistent speed. Very receptive. Tees and fairways need some work.

My wife and I have played this course three times and each time the course has been in great shape. We got turned on to it playing another course and we were told to try Moffet, we are glad we did. I’m an 8 handicap and my wife is 31, yet we find it challenging and a joy to play. Defined worth trying it if you haven’t yet

I decided to give the course a try and I’m glad I did! Course was in great shape. Wind made it pretty challenging, especially on the back 9. Pace was very slow for a few holes, but the 2 groups holding things up were only playing 9 holes. I would highly recommend if your looking for a fair price for a round of golf!

Fun course with good greens and some interesting tee shot decisions. First time playing this course and I enjoyed myself. It’s not too challenging but if you decide to be risky on some holes it’ll make you pay. Overall good time! I’ll be back.

course is in phenomenal condition. The fairways are lush In most cases and the greens are wonderful, but should get a roll now in them. The mosquitos and gnats are terrible. Bring your repellent with you!

The greens are in very good condition

Pace of play was ok but not great.

It was a little windy but not bad.

It is not easy to find the course as signs are almost non existent but it is worth playing.

I have been wanting to play this course for some time, since I had heard good things about it. All the good things I heard were true! What was unexpected were how good the greens were, especially for the time of year. The ball rolled well on the greens. As long as you hit your line the putts went where they were supposed to. I am looking forward to playing here again!!!

I’ve played Moffett many times and it’s usually a good round and experience. Right now 2/19/19 - it’s in horrible shape due to the recent rains - at least 1/2 the fairways are under water - and they’ve chosen to be willfully ignorant about the conditions being unplayable. Save your $ and time for another time.

The first thing to remember about playing Moffett is that it is still on a controlled access property. You need to pass by very serious armed guards to get onto the property and if you don't have ID, preferably a driver's license, then you will be quickly told to turn around and leave. The other thing to know about Moffett is it is right on the Bay, so if wind is forecast, especially if it is in a colder time of the year, think twice about playing! We played in 16 mph winds in December and it was not a good idea! Other than that, this is one of the more reasonably priced courses in the area and is in really decent shape most of the time. And NO CART PATH ONLY!

Finished the round in 4 hours. This is a walking course.

Greens are easy top read.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

They have a members discount which is attractive.

I'll play it again.

Moffett is a fun course and a great value in general, but this past Sunday the pace of play was easily the WORST I've experienced in the area in recent memory. 2:45 to play the front nine. Stuck behind 4-5 groups that were just abysmally slow. Watched the Marshall drive by one time without him even noticing the golfers. Infuriating. Sitting on 12 tee waiting to tee off we noticed 16 tee/fairway/green all completely empty. Obviously slow groups ahead were single-handedly ruining the day for many. Too bad the Marshall didn't address it earlier.
