About
The Club at Savannah Harbor is steeped in Southern charm, offering dramatic views that span from the surrounding wetlands of the Back River to Savannah's famous Historic District. Sam Snead and Bob Cupp designed the golf course. Their ultimate goal was to bring to life the philosophy of "risk and reward." For example, a well executed shot placed near a hazard is rewarded with less club to the green or a better approach angle, or even both. The putting surfaces have gentle transitions to different pin locations, making them more traditional than modern. The designers incorporated another classic design element, the greens have subtle roll-offs or collars that fall away, a feature of golf courses from the 1930s and 40s. Golfers can also use the club's large, duel-ended practice facility.

Great course
Love this course. Have played here many times
and it’s in superb shape. Only complaint is
they’ve raised the rates. 😳
Fun round at Savannah Harbor
The course is in very good (B+) shape. The greens still need to grow in a bit after aeration. Beware that bunker faces may have a thin layer of sand over what feels like a concrete base. Good value the money. One of my favorite courses in the area.

Beautiful course and club.
Too long for seniors, but great for real golfers.
Course was in excellent shape except the greens had been aerated a couple weeks prior and were still not running true. The course made us aware ahead of time and the greens fee was adjusted to account for it. Only real downside was pace of play …
Great course
Fantastic course. I did get a notification that the greens had been aerated, played anyway. The course was in great shape, some challenging holes. I can't wait to play again once the greens have recovered. Friendly staff all around. There was no beverage cart due to the lack of golfers, but bevs at turn were cold and very nice staff. Will debe back
Beautiful Experience
This was a great experience. Only concern was that the greens had been punched and we were not notified in advance. Had we known we may have made another selection. We were on an island and it’s June so the mosquitos were out in full. Even though bug repellent was provided I recommend you bring your own. Rented a set of clubs which was a little pricey. Most of us brought our own. The staff was professional and customer friendly.
Course conditions.
All aspects of the course from the range to the greens were in impeccable condition.
Great value, bring bug spray
This was a great course! Very forgiving off the tee. The greens are pure!!
The only improvement suggestion I could make is to somehow get their mosquito problem under control. The mosquitos are next level. I’m from south Alabama and live in central swampy Florida and I’ve never seen anything like their mosquitos…
Outside of that it’s a wonderful course with gray practice facilities.
Great course, holds firm even in wet conditions
We were worried the course would be soggy due to rainy conditions, we were wrong to worry. Very pure course and was very satisfied with our time there. Excellent service and world class layout. Pro-tip, bring bug spray. The mosquitos were borderline intolerable in the marshy areas.
