About
The Club at Savannah Harbor is steeped in Southern charm, offering dramatic views that span from the surrounding wetlands of the Back River to Savannah's famous Historic District. Sam Snead and Bob Cupp designed the golf course. Their ultimate goal was to bring to life the philosophy of "risk and reward." For example, a well executed shot placed near a hazard is rewarded with less club to the green or a better approach angle, or even both. The putting surfaces have gentle transitions to different pin locations, making them more traditional than modern. The designers incorporated another classic design element, the greens have subtle roll-offs or collars that fall away, a feature of golf courses from the 1930s and 40s. Golfers can also use the club's large, duel-ended practice facility.

Savannah Harbor
Really good golf experience. All employees were very friendly. The course layout was very good with very nice views. Overall course conditions were very good although the greens were a little bumpy and on the slow side. We had a very enjoyable day.

Much improved, but don't get cute.
The course is in the best shape I've it's been in for the last 18 months I've been playing it. It's evident the employees, managers and new owners are taking pride in the experience they offer. People are paying attention to the details and the user experience. It starts in the pro shop continues with the starter , the range experience and most importantly the course. Raked bunkers, groomed waste areas, good tee boxes , beverages and greens. All great.
However I was confused and then disappointed o see a shipping container turned on end in the middle of the driving range.. What? May have seemed like a creative idea, but send it back to the Savannah Harbor where it belongs. Admit you tried something and it didn't work out. Wish I took a picture. Eye sore.

Beautiful course, fun layout!
Course was in very good shape! Challenging but not overbearing. New greens were just installed this year — very firm despite heavy rain the day before — so it was incredibly hard to hold an approach shot. Because of rain the greens were just a tad shaggy, only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars on

Greens are bumpy , grainy and a bit slow. Some tees are a little thin. But the rest of the course was in very good shape! I definitely enjoyed the course and will go back again!

Excellent experience
I started my experience by messing up the tee time. The pro shop staff made adjustments and had us golfing without a hitch. The entire team was helpful and courteous. Oh yeah, and the course was in great shape and we enjoyed the whole experience.

Not worth the money
Mid morning and greens slow and bumpy ruined the experience. Minimal traffic on the course, so clearly untouched maintenance from day before. Not what I would expect for the cost. Pay rack rate for this course and you would be more than disappointed.

The location was convenient to my hotel and the price was fair. The greens could have been better.

Course is in good condition.
Played on a weekday as a single. There were no other groups so pace of play was totally up to me. Course is long, but very fair. Really large greens. Some greens had bad spots but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Enjoyed Savannah Harbor
From the Golf shop to the practice range to the course everything was top notch. Greens were a little slower than I’d like but rolled true. Fun layout with variety of holes including some nice risk/reward options. A little pricey but other than that a great overall golf experience

Wonderful Location
Awesome course (certainly for the price I got it for), would always try to play there again.
Range balls before, restaurant before or after, locker room stocked by the Westin Hotel / steam room/ it had it all.
Course is challenging but fair.
