Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

Great course up in the hills above Vallejo, can be a pretty challenging track with a ton of fun holes. Tee boxes have gotten better from the years past once Troon took over, don’t forget to claim your Troon points!

Greens are usually rolling smooth, green keepers can keep you in your toes with some pin placements. Get out early if you want to avoid any waiting, popular course so will get busy!!

A majority of the fairways are in great condition, the greens are hard to hold but not too fast but some of the sand traps need a lot of work and there are areas of the fairway that need to be redone. When this course is in its best shape, it's one of the best in the bay area.

Michael in the pro shop was wonderful, friendly and professional ! I was running late and he was friendly and accommodating..

The fairways were spotty with wet and bare spots.

Some Bunkers are under repair.

Green was nice and course layout is challenging.

I were play again.

I have always loved this course. Regardless of condition, I always see workers working on the course.

Some of my best rounds have come here, regardless of condition.

Keep the ball in play and have a shot.

When the course is soft it’s gettable. When it’s firm look out!

Many bunkers have been removed and replaced by what will be grass I assume. Feels more like a links course with elevation now.

It’s never been a poor ball strikers course.

Hit it well and have a chance.

A great back nine.

Always look forward to the first tee as well. It has great driving holes on front and back, with some treacherous greens.

Very difficult course from blue tees, only 6188 yds, with slips of 139! Bring dozen balls. Few elevated tees with views.

I see that work continuous to be done on the course. Several bunkers have been removed just hope they don't take too many away. The ones' I see were on holes 6, 7, while work was being done on 10. The good news is that sand is being placed in the traps, which is great. Looking forward to see what the final redo looks like.

I went out with nice players but once we got to the 14 hole it took 22 minutes to play that hole! I walked off the course after that because 4 1/2 hour had elapsed and I didn’t want to play 4 more holes at that pace! I never saw a Marshall all day!

Great course! The greens are rolling great and the fairways are good ! They are working on the sand traps and some parts of the fairways but overall is a great place to play

You need to find more fairways otherwise you’ll be in trouble. Pretty fun out there.

I had a great time today. Really enjoy the course. And Ms. Denise at the bar is so nice, the food is so good after finishing 18 holes. Really want be back

My only exception that they don't have a walker rate.

Early morning, coarse was soaked, rough and OB was tall and lots of weeds

Course will provide unique challenges and will test your skills as a golfer.

Have always loved this course for the awesome layout, and the natural beauty...both of which have made it a constant challenge. In my opinion the many changes taking place the past 6+ months (w/ new ownership) are mostly for the good. The almost always healthy greens, are as good as ever. The bunkers (those remaining) are finally being cared for, as are the long neglected teeboxes. All good. But, I'm a bit concerned that the ongoing removal of trees and bunkers is being overdone. True, some of both were in extraneous locations and rarely, if ever came into play. But, I fear the course will be losing some of its challenge ie. becoming to forgiving in allowing recovery from poor shots. For me, time will tell if the improved maintenance outweighs the reduced challenge. But, I'll still love the course for its wonderful (conforming to the terrain) layout and natural beauty.
