Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

Second time playing this course. I’m a mid to high handicapper so normally play less challenging venues with less OB. When a ball leaves the fairway, good luck finding it due to heavy surrounding brush and ravines. Course conditions were overall good but there was much ground under repair on several holes. Greens ran fast in the afternoon. Your money will be well spent if you are an above average golfer and hitting well on the day of play. Otherwise recommend playing an easier course with more gracious OB areas.

The course layout is great. Course management is required to play well. Overall course condition is pretty bad. fairways are not great, bunkers torn apart, pretty bad for the price you pay. The greens were ok but slow. I wouldn't pay $89 to play this course. There are much better courses for less cost.

Greens were in the best shape I have seen in a couple of years.

I have been wanting to play this course for a while now. Have to say I was pretty disappointed. The course layout is great. Makes for some challenging golf, however the condition was way below standard for the money you pay. Looks like they are removing a lot of bunkers but haven’t marked GUR. Greens were ok but slow. Fairway wasn’t great. You can play way better courses for less money. One thing that made the day good was the amazing weather.

Challenging but fair layout, 2-4 clubs afternoon winds made shot selection tricky.

I've played this course for over 3 years and for the first time I see positive signs that the course is going through an improvement program. Several tee boxes have been fixed by leveling them and placing new sod on them. Talking with the course greens keeper, they are planning on improving over ten tee boxes by this summer. The work they have done shows in that the greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were also in good shape. Looking forward to playing it in the future, since I love the layout.

Any day 18 holes can be played in less than 4 hours is a god day! I was playing with a friend I hadn't seen in 20+ years so we would pause and catch up several times, but still played in 3:50. We let a single play through. But, other than that, we felt like we owned the place! Greens were in outstanding condition. A little on the slow side, but pristine. Fairways has some bare spots, but negligible as far as affecting the quality of play. Hadn't played there for 6 years, but will be back soon!

Beautiful course. They are working on the tee boxes which is awesome when done this will be a gem.

Great layout. Greens are true but shaggy—they’ll be screaming fast come summer. Many traps are under needed repair.
