Nice course, but SLOW!
Took 3 hours to play the 1st 10 holes until the pace picked up a bit. They need strict marshals on the course as there was a foresome at least 2 holes behind. A "player assistance person" finally jacked them up a bit. We had finally had enough and quit after 16 holes as we were close to a 5 hour round at that time. Greens were in decent shape. put as other reviewers noted, some of the tees were a bit "scruffy". If, but for the pace of play< it is a decent value.

Great putting greens
Fairways very wet, not mowed
No sand n bunkers, full of mud
Roughs soaked , large clumps and piles of grass everywhere
Need to turn water off for a week course is
flooded
Tees. not mowed not level and need reseeding Worse shape for a course that brags about
LPGA history. Wont play again
Love it here.
This has git to be one of my favorite courses to play in this area.love the layout course is always in great shape and got another great deal...
The only negative thing is:
Whatcis up with the tees?
I am seeing this problem in most of the courses I play, is there a reason for that?
I mean, I will still play there every time I have a chance.....just wondering

Some course conditions need to be addressed
Good course with lots of different looks! Tee box’s need some help, sand traps are like concrete, most greens in nice shape!, over all a very nice golf course!!

Great course, SLOOOOOW PACE
Great course. Tough holes with carefully thought out shots to make. Would have been a great round other than it took 5.75 hrs to play 18 holes!!!!! Marshall came by on 8th hole. We asked him about any speeding up and said there were three foursomes in front of us then like 3-4 holes open ahead of us. Perhaps it would have been best to push that front group a bit more to increase pace of play??!?!?love the course but can’t spend literally an entire day to play golf!

We take our pace of play very seriously, with that said, it would be helpful for each golfer to understand their own pace which would assist others to move around the course in a timely manner. Could be better
Course lacks tlc in places especially for it being in an amazing community. . Can’t blame Covid because I’ve played courses that still look immaculate. Staff seemed friendly but had a bad experience the 1st time I played here.
Recommendations
While I enjoy playing hiddenbrooke, I wish the sand traps and tee boxes would be improved.
Still an enjoyable round despite....

Challenging
A great, fun and challenging course! Greens were true. Overall a high risk high reward kind of course and not for the faint of heart. Highly recommend this course.

Tough course for first timers
We wanted a new place to golf in Napa area that was different than the few around the city. Hiddenbrook offered a challenging course with hills, more narrow fairways and beautiful vista's.

Beautifull day, one of my favorite courses, great deal, course in good condition, tees need work, grest greens and to top it off git a birdie on number 2 .....

Awesome layout, decent conditions, over priced
Hiddenbrooke used to be a beautiful course with a tough and demanding layout.
However the conditions aren’t very good anymore. The tee boxes are bad, the bunkers have no sand, and the greens are rock hard.
The grass is decent on the fairways but everywhere else isn’t what it used to be.
$88 on the weekends with cart is a bit overpriced right now. Closer to $60. Maybe they can add free range balls and lunch to add more value if they need to keep the price the same.
I would rather drive to San Juan Oaks or Poppy Ridge for the same price.
