Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

Great course. Always friendly staff. Could have been a little better at keeping the pace of play up but still better than other courses in the area. Only other gripe is that a few of the tee boxes were chewed up, one even looked like a bunker it has so much sand down.

Booked an early tee time the day of Thanksgiving and I slow cooked for 5 hours because the pace of play was so bad. Understand everyone and their grandma come out for the holidays but it sure does ruin a round. Either way the greens keeper was mad to work on Thanksgiving and placed just about every pin on a ridge and cut the greens at a 10-11. Really fun but incredibly comical and likely added to the long round. A few times if you putted below the hole you could role back 30 feet. Either way I love hiddenbrooke and I would say it currently is tops for best winter condition.

Challenging, lots of trouble! Really fun track overall

Scenic course with good challenging layout though surrounding hills are brown and unscenic. Higher slope due to layout and greens, not overly long but goes up and down hills. Greens are almost all sloped and faster so putting is a challenge and you need to lag within two feet. Current conditions for the end of 2020 Nov are good. Greens wet and fast. A number of bare dirt areas on the fairways and where carts go to path but overall fairways in good shape and trimmed well. I would replay here in the near future again.

I remember when this course was good. Wish it could get back to what it was. Greens were in decent condition but other than that the rest of the course was not in good shape.

This is my second time here, 3 weeks apart. The course is in better shape now that it’s not hot. The first time I played here they absolutely soaked the course making it very muddy to play, even in the fairways.

It isn’t the longest course, but it is challenging, particularly the back 9. I’ve enjoyed this course a lot and will be back again.

Two issues I have. The cart girl can take credit card, but they wrote down your card number. No thanks. The other issue is pace of play. The “Marshall” is a young kid who doesn’t tell the people clogging things up to speed up or get off the course. Took us 5 hours each time to play.

Hiddenbrooke is a wonderful piece of property in terrible condition.

The greens are in decent shape, but tees are not good and most fairways have large areas

of unplayable conditions. Bunkers are also mostly unplayable for competition.

One can only suspect the course to be on verge of being sold or closure.

It’s a situation with no viable solution.

If you close completely to allow for repairs you have no income.

With continued play the course can’t be repaired.

It’s WAY to hilly to ever think of play being limited to walking or cart path only.

Pace of play is always an issue given the number of ball eating creeks, canyons, etc.

It’s a difficult track with FAR to many high handicappers & beginners creating intolerable slow play.

Areas were so soggy you couldn’t hope to stand and hit the ball. Other areas we just dirt. Sad. I use to like this course.

Hiddenbrooke is a challenging layout. $38 dollars with cart couldn’t be passed by. Tee time was at 3 pm, pace was good, got 16 hikes in before loss of daylight. Well worth it. Course isn’t in the shape it was back when the LPGA came though but I’d play it again ASAP.

This course is awesome. Definitely puts your game to the test. I would drive out of my way to play again and again! This course is in great condition considering the weather.
