Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

I enjoy this course quite a bit. Fun layout that is fair and can be challenging if not hitting them well. Conditions weren't what I would expect. Not much grass on some of the tee boxes, some bare/brown spots on the fairway and the greens needed to me rolled and ball marks repaired.

Tee boxes are absolutely horrible, fairways have a lot of brown and dirt spots. Greens are nice. Overall a fun course but could definitely use some work for the $85 weekend rate.

I got a vacant spot during early play hours. The “regulars” were really welcoming and helpful. I know this challenging course well, but never played in thick fog. Loved every minute.

I've been to Hiddenbrook twice.

Both times the fog was so thick you didn't know where you were aiming until it lifted at the 13th or 14th hole.

It was also freezing. Not worth it. I think they should give a disclaimer.

Probably pretty fun if you can see.

They could do with some effort to clean up accumulated leaves on different parts of the course.

Greens roll nice. Nice fairways, some of the hitting areas just off the fairways are a bit patchy.

1st tee is a tough shot for a 1st tee (narrow carry with dogleg left) , especially when you can't see anything. Dumb design choice.

First off all bunkers should have sand in them not clay or dirt.. some tee boxes are worn out with no place left to hit from no grass to hit from.. its a great course otherwise. Would like to see less bare spots on the fairways. If you keep your ball on the faiirway you should hit off nice trimmed fairway grass everytime.

Great course. Always friendly staff. Could have been a little better at keeping the pace of play up but still better than other courses in the area. Only other gripe is that a few of the tee boxes were chewed up, one even looked like a bunker it has so much sand down.

Booked an early tee time the day of Thanksgiving and I slow cooked for 5 hours because the pace of play was so bad. Understand everyone and their grandma come out for the holidays but it sure does ruin a round. Either way the greens keeper was mad to work on Thanksgiving and placed just about every pin on a ridge and cut the greens at a 10-11. Really fun but incredibly comical and likely added to the long round. A few times if you putted below the hole you could role back 30 feet. Either way I love hiddenbrooke and I would say it currently is tops for best winter condition.

Challenging, lots of trouble! Really fun track overall

Scenic course with good challenging layout though surrounding hills are brown and unscenic. Higher slope due to layout and greens, not overly long but goes up and down hills. Greens are almost all sloped and faster so putting is a challenge and you need to lag within two feet. Current conditions for the end of 2020 Nov are good. Greens wet and fast. A number of bare dirt areas on the fairways and where carts go to path but overall fairways in good shape and trimmed well. I would replay here in the near future again.
