Early Players Beware
Course is fine. It's fun and challenging. The pace of play its a major issue. Despite the 10 minute tee times, this course eats balls and people spend too much time looking for them.
Also they have an absurd policy of letting people play the back 9 in the middle of the morning rush hour. So if you are one of the first tee times, you will eventually get stuck behind some hacks before you finish your round. Super great for rhythm
BRS
First time on this course and I really enjoyed the layout. Played with a local guy so very helpful to get guidance on a few holes on where to place the ball. Will look to play here again when back in the area.
Enjoy one round of golf
The group in front of us is playing too slow. Need some patience. The weather is perfect in Vallejo. Anyway I have a good practice round. This is one of my favorite courses.
Blue Rock-West
this course offers a wide variety of challenges for us "less capable" golfers. the staff was super friendly however the driving range didnt open up until right before our tee time. the snack bar wasn't open either until we got thru 9. Overall the experience was what we expected, fun and a great day with a challenge at every hole. Greens were in great shape too. Definitely recommend this course to all skill levels
Blue Rock East Side
Course is looking good all around.
Comments:
Roll the greens - bumpy greens.
Widen the fairways - done fairways were 20ft wide.
It's not THE US Open
Cut the rough lower - this will speed up pay, loose less balls and will make golf that more enjoyable for all.
West Course First Week April 2025
The greens had been aerated a month ago and were really bumpy. Made it hard read lines and added extra stroke. They need to roll the greens. Also they need to cut the grass in the fairway rough lower so hard to find balls in the grass. Other wise
A good course.
Nice course
Some greens were faster than others, but overall it's a very nice course.
Great condition
Course was in superb condition. 3.5 hour round on a fairly busy day.
Holiday golf
Due to Cart Paths Only, the pace of play was pretty slow. We did not finish before the closing. Anyway we had a fun day out there.
