Blue Rock is too slow even during the Week! Avoid playing if you can!
I made a 9:40am reservation on Golfnow on a Thursday 5/29/2025. I showed up in time to the first tee at 9:38am. I met a guy named Charlie and he said, “You are not playing in my group at 9:40am because I have added a fourth player. I went out by myself and it took 3 1/2 hours to play 13 holes! I quit after completing 13 because it was too slow and not fun to play golf at that pace. I complained to the pro shop and talked to the head marshal, Ishmael. He said he was very sorry several times, but didn’t offer me a refund. Extremely disappointing! Don’t play Blue Rock anymore!

Some surprising obstacles.
It was a good round, I got paired with some nice people.
However the golf course etiquette is not good.
Too many people just driving right into adjoining fairways without looking or yielding to the people who are on the hole.
On 18 there was a man with two kids just running around from hole to hole. They were on the 3rd green. Kids were pounding their clubs into the green.
He was obliviously taking videos of his kids and the kids were just running around with their clubs, dropping a ball and just hitting wherever they wanted.
They literally aimed for us on the 18th green. Thank goodness they didn't hit anyone.
Great
Course was in very good shape. It was crowded, but pace of play was excellent. All other players were very friendly. I highly recommend this course to all my friends and family.
They can do better
3 weeks and they still haven't fixed the driving range vehicle. Complete failure !
It seems there are little things that can be improved.
New $10 deposit on cart key...not so bad but getting your 10 returned was excessively time consuming. A return credit to your debit card will take 3 or more days.!
Blue Rock - East
Good, casual course. Wind on the east side can make the course significantly harder. West side is more flat and less windy. Both are fun to play.
Golf coursr
Blue rock I played East and West both of the course well groomed everything was great about the course except for sand traps had rocks in them. And some of the ball washers had no water a simple task of putting water into ball washers shouldn’t be an issue.
