Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

Nice course with a good layout. Room to recover from r errant shots.

Course wasn't as bad as i was expecting considering all the rain we just had. Greens were in above average shape, Tee boxes were very nice, some water saturation in some areas, but better than expected. Nice course in great condition.

Appears the winter rains have taken it's toll on the course. Although carts were allowed on most of the holes, there were still many extremely wet areas on th,e fairways. Also, the grass was very spotty. It's one of the courses I enjoy playing but will wait again until warmer weather returns. However, given the above comments. the greens were in very good shape.

The courses is still saturated with rain water. If you’re going to play here bring a shovel to unplug your drives. Have your buddies watch each shot because of saturation your ball will plug. Bring some extra balls. The pin placements could not have been more cruel. Someone made the grounds keeper mad that morning I guess. EVERY GREEN the pin was placed on either an ant hill or on the edge of a slope. Just not a fun round for average/ beginner golfers. This course is public and should appease to all skill sets. That was just mean!! It’s bad enough we have to walk to our balls in hopes we find it and have to hit a green that has a pin placed in a very difficult spot to make putts. Not saying it should be easy just not impossible. Will play here again sometime in the drier season.

Course was maintained fairly well. Was a cold day for sure. Pace of play was slow, right about a 5 hour round. Overall good experience.

A friend and I played Blue Rock Springs, East on 12/14 and had a great time. Although it was cold in the morning, we were able to get out at 10:20 and finished in 4 hours. The course was in excellent shape with the exception of the bunkers, that were full of mud and water from the recent heavy rains. That's winter golf. Highly recommended.

Great course for the price. Challenging and fun and outstanding pace. My only complaints. There are cigarettes and cigarette butts everywhere. It’s nasty. Also there was only one chatty person in the pro shop checking people in instead of 2 on a busy Saturday am. Wasted 10 mins listening to stories and other stupidity when he should have just been chopping wood and getting us checked in. That’s like your job man.
