Worth the money
Course was better than expected. Good overall experience. Rain held out, and made the full 18.
Good course
Good condition, challenging at times. A little slow on the pace of play, almost 5 hours. Windy conditions, light mist at times but rain held off.
Great course butt…
This course is fantastic. One or the best values around. Challenging. Good conditions. One major complaint. There are nasty disgusting cigarette butts literally everywhere. On the practice greens on the greens on the tees in the bunker in the golf carts. It’s sick and nasty. Use a garbage can lazy pigs.
This is a hill course so be prepared to be hitting uphill/side/downhill lies. That being said, many of the tee boxes were lumpy and also that way. Not so easy to hit off of with driver- they could use some leveling. Course had many trouble spots if you are not a straight shooter so bring your rescue clubs. Layout does offer a large variety of elevation changes and the vistas at the top are amazing. Greens, were a bit slow at times and some of the sand traps seemed to be lacking a little sand. Staff was a little slow but nice. Group all played well today so all and all - a good round of golf. Will return.
Greens are almost back in good condition after aerating.!

Pace of play
The foursomes in front were slower than normal. I appreciate that someone came out to pick up the pace of play. I am aware that an official Marshall was not on duty. The young man who answered my call to notify the course about the pace (Sunday around 2:30pm) did a great job trying to keep us happy. Thank you!
I am totally fine with beginners being on the course but it would be helpful if a Marshall educates them on course etiquette. This comment would apply to other golf courses.

Sunday at Blue Rock East
We knew the greens were just araeted (sp?). Sand traps were muddy or hard. Lots of dry spots on course and balls fell away from the sides of the fairways due to super dry conditions.
