Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

When I went into the pro shop to sign out a cart I was told I needed to pay for a second cart although I pre paid for 2 roounds with carts included. When I told the guy behind the counter that I wanted the two carts he asked me why I needed two cart with a bad attitude . After my explanation , he told me we needed to pay for a second cart although we had purchased the 2 rounds W/Carts . Of all my years of golf , this was hands down the worst customer service I have ever had at a golf course.

Greens were exceptional. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Could use a little more sand in the bunkers, but so could most courses. Practice area is one of the best in NorCal.

Rumors abound that this track will be reduced to 18 holes from 36. It would be a real shame if this happens. All fans of the game should support this treasure.

Played the east course with my two sons.

This is a nice course for the money, especially for a public course. My only complaint is that there are not enough drinking water stations. There were maybe two or three for the whole course. There should be one for each 2 or 3 holes especially when it is hot. I had my own water 1 quart bottle, but still ran out before the next water station. The 'clubhouse' is dated and minimal.

This course is as good as it gets when it comes to value for your money. Came out from Sacramento and met some friends here from the Bay Area. This was my second time playing here, and we got a cart this time. I recommend it unless you're ready for a major workout.

Very fun course, got off 2nd group so pace of play was great. Fairways to greens great shape, need to remember to put this on our play list

Awesome time at blue rock springs- got there early to go to the driving range to warm up- excellent driving range- played the west course and it was a perfect day. I enjoy both courses at blue rock- I think everyone would to.

The west is my favorite, I played Junior golf there. The grass is a little long right now. Great course to boom it off the tee. The greens were in great shape

I enjoyed playing the East Course. Some interesting hole designs with elevation changes, etc. I’d definitely play there again.

Our foursome had a good round. Breakfast and lot's of fun and even one birdie on the course. Upon returning to our cars, My friend's 5 day old Mercedes had a blown out rear window. An errant Titelist Pro V 1 was found at rest on the rear seat. Emoloyee Jay saw what was going on, which was three guys gingerly picking shattered glass and one guy on the phone. Jay worked with us to clean up the glass. What a great guy. He had a shop vac he plugged into his car and it did the trick. And he refused to take a tip.Thank you Jay!
