Unknowingly the course was just aerated until I checked in. There was NO notification when I purchased on golf now.

I would have not travel to the course even if the round was “FREE” knowing in that conditions.

Theres nothing more disappointing to travel and ruined your day/rounds and get surprised by bad greens!!

Punched Greens

Greens were punched but we knew that when we booked. The bunkers are pretty rough and we dug several large rocks out of one bunker, some were almost unplayable.

Blue Rock East September 2023

Front nine pace of play was excellent, then it slowed. Fairways have several brown spots. Greens were aerated, but sanded well. Sand traps were very wet.

Aeration Alert

Course is always a great time, cost is low on East Course due to aeration from Sep 19/20 so be aware of that! Other than that, played here multiple times, both courses are a great challenge in themselves. Highly recommend!

I recommend it to anyone looking for a course in great condition, great price and location for anyone in the Bay Area. If you have an early tee time, check in early, they’re short staffed and only have one person checking folks in which can take time off practice and warmup.
