Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

I want to recognize RAY! He was calm, patient and professional. As busy as that place was that day, all the while answering my questions. Course design is friendly, not to many places to get into trouble unless you play cadence golf.

Played my first round at east course in a beautiful afternoon. The hilly layout is interesting and challenging. The overall condition was good. However, most tee boxes are not evenly flat. It took me a few holes to get used to it for the driver shot. Since it was not weekend, traffic was light and play pace was fast. This course is definitely worth revisiting.

Coures and staff are great. Just miss the drink cart to help hydrate!!!!!

1.Rough so high you can't see your ball if you happen to hit it in there.

2.One golfer in a threesome was walking his two dogs while he was playing." Really". Now were walking our dogs while playing golf.

3.One golfer was playing loud music while playing on the hole next to me.

4.Ball washers I used were out of water.

5.The large bunkers around some greens have either no or one rake in them.

6.The twosome I was put with had one set of golf clubs between them, but they left after nine holes. Guess they were tired of me leaving them behind. All courses require each golfer to have their own set of golf clubs. Guess the Rock is different.

7.No food at the turn, just peanuts & water.

8. Just had a wonderful time.

Greens and fairways are in good shape but lots of the rough needs to be mowed as some of it is tall enough to completely hide a ball unless you stand right over it.

We had a tee time at10.40. Flo, Helsing, dusty and Los!! We had a great time. The greens were in great shape. It was a little windy bay but we handled it. Overall it was an awesome day with great friends. Very fun course.

What’s the purpose of having Marshalls when they don’t enforce any slow play?

Blue Rock Springs was in great shape. Very helpful people working there. It was a joy to play!

I really enjoy this course .. Fun to play here... My only issue was that it seems that GREENS were not mowed before play ... Putts were very slow and cost me a fee strokes ..

I played the East Course and it was in okay shape. The greens are almost back from r cent sanding and could be smoother and faster. But it’s okay for just a casual golf and an alternative to other munis in the region.
