About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Relax
Course is always a value and the staff are great. Beers are cold and the hot dogs are fantastic.
Better than driving range
Executive 4 clubs and putter. Nice to practice your 100yd short game. 3 holes allow long iron/driver. Night golf .. Great for after work. Par 3 ..2 clubs and putter. tree lined

This is a good course I would like to try out some other courses but trying to get better at golf first but loving it tho
Decent 9 hole for money
My friend and I went to play this on a hot Saturday afternoon and it ended up pretty good. By no means is this course gonna blow you out of the water, but friendly staff, a good snack bar, and a pretty well sized driving range make up for that. We blew by the 9 holes in a little over an hour. Overall I rate it 3.5/5, very good for what it is.
Great Time
Always nice to stop in and swing clubs, its perfect. Get 9 or play 18 its fun in the city, why not make the most of it, plays straight forward. There are a few bunkers and watch out for the coyote, he stands guard.
Sunday Golf
We picked this course because it's a par 3 walking course and we were scheduled to play with our grandsons. It's a good course to practice your short game. The hamburgers we had when we finished were very very good.
Ok for the price
If we didn't have a golf now membership, we probably wouldn't play Van Nuys. For 5-10$/round, it's worth it, but I wouldn't pay full price.
Great place to golf and practice chipping and putting. Enjoyed the day and the relaxed atmosphere.
Affordable and Fun
Had a great morning round at Van Nuys. It was chilly but greens were in good shape and the price is surely right. Nice food and beer options as well (breakfast burrito was amazing). I totally recommend this for a fun easy relaxing nine with your buddies. You tee off on mats is the only true drawback.
Fun little executive
If you only have a couple hours come play this fun little 9 hole course. Mats are worn and need replacement and the fairways aren't great but the greens are awesome and pace of play is worth the price. 3 decent par 4'a let you bring out the driver and work in long game. The 2 Hot Dogs for 6 bucks are great!
