About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Fun Day
My wife and my son are beginners and we had a great time together, pre Father's Day . When we made the turn, there was a group of kids starting on 10 as well as 1, The adult in the group asked us to go ahead and play through, so it was great. I started on this course 20 years ago, so overall a real fun day!

Had a great morning at the course. The driving range is large and there are two putting greens for practicing as well as a nice chipping area. The atmosphere here is casual, as golf should be, and the staff is really nice.
SLOOOW GREENS
The slooowest greens I have ever played. If the greens were in playable condition, this would be a decent little course.
Great Value
Greens are always in good shape. Play every Thanksgiving with my children. We have a blast!
Great course in my neighborhood!
I love this course which is very close to where I live. The prices is good and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. Have done a few courses too and all of the trainers are great.
Don't look any further to improve your game and have a good time.
Very enjoyable Golf Morning
A straightforward course. Greens are true and large so putting can be challenging. Having three par 4s is a great way to get to use your woods. Was surprised how green everything was given the drought is.
Enjoyed lunch at the snack shack.
All in all, a great way to spend the morning.
Great value
I played the 18 hole par 3 course. It's a great course if you just want to get some short iron work in. The course isn't complicated at all and the greens are kept in good shape. The fairways on the other hand are as good as it's going to get given the extreme drought conditions of CA.
I'd highly recommend reserving tee times online. Each time I went I was able to get spots for $12 per player. There's a $3 charge for the cart.
For beginners only
Extremely old mats on every tee box.
Course conditions were very mediocre.
Price should be about $12 for the 9-hole, not $17.

Perfect practice facility
Van Nuys golf is incredible for any golfer. If you are beginning golfer just starting and need to learn how to hit your clubs and practice distance control, it's perfect. The par 3 course is so fun to practice your short irons . Also the executive course is great practice for all clubs. Id tell an avid
Golfer to only challenge himself to use his irons on the executive , no fairway woods of driver , if he/she would like to really challenge himself . Great course and range but don't expect pebble beach

It's a great course when you are in a hurry to get some golf and errands out of the way. The conditions are realistic as you would have in a real course.

Greens seem to be getting better since new management took over. Improvements throughout. Weather was great! Nice bang for the buck!
Best 9 hole in Van Nuys
This course is in exellent shape for those who want to hone their game for regulation size courses. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the greens are in exellent shape, Oscar is a outstanding grounds keeper, and I love playing this course every weekend.Thank you Mike for being a great friend and providing a wonderful golf course for me and my friends to play on.
