The Frog at the Georgian

Played here about 6 months ago. The new owners are making major strides and the greens are improving dramatically. I don't know what they are doing but it's working. Best layout of a course it's so much fun. From the long hilly par 5 to the narrow hit par 3. Keep up the good work.only problem is let it know be, that golf etiquette still exist. Let people play through if they are waiting on you.

Enjoyed my round yesterday. They are working on the sand traps as I write this. Course under new owners. It would be great to see them restore the Frog to it's former glory. Prices are going higher though. Said the senior rate for the weekday went from $42 to $52 plus tax. Quite a jump

So I enjoyed playing the actual course. However, the off course amenities were horrible. They are also replacing the sand in the bunkers so some of the bunkers have great soft sand and others do not. Also, there is no food option on Mondays or Tuesdays so that really killed our round at the turn.

Husband and I decided to take advantage of an overcast Monday to get a practice round in and were pleased it was not busy (although not a typical day for the course). Fairways were in ok shape but the course could use some TLC. Staff was friendly. Some holes are cart path only which can be annoying but overall can’t complain for the experience we had.

I and my wife played this course yesterday 1/30/23. We got in on a hot deal on a cloudy/ misty Monday. The staff inside the club house was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. However I am really glad we got to play under a Hot Deal because the course needs some love. The tee boxes are good. The fairways were ok for winter golf, but the greens and sand traps could really use an overhaul especially when asking $60 a person.

Beautiful spot. Great layout. Without golf pass deal of the day it is a bit pricey. Course was real wet so it was cart path only but it was very easy course to navigate quickly on foot. Can’t wait to play in the spring time when everything is in bloom and green.

The Frog used to be one of the better values in Metro Atlanta. I was surprised/disappointed with the shape of the course. Most bunkers had virtually no sand and the greens were full of dead spots. Multiple holes had drainage issues. The pace of play was so bad we didn't even finish our round.

The course still has great bones and apparently it's just been purchased and is going to be restored. Time willl tell, I guess.

Only 2 (1 and 2) of the greens weren’t great, the others were nearly perfect. The pace of play was awful, and it was 6 hours long. The course layout was great. I really liked it just watch out for tik tokers. Don’t listen to the other reviews, come here!!

The Frog used to be a great place to play but maintenance is clearly lacking. All the bunkers are really bad and many of the greens are very rough. I won’t be back for a while. Hopefully they can turn the lack of maintenance around.

Pace of play was terrible as a foursome was holding up multiple groups. No Ranger to help speed up pace of play.

Overall this course was AMAZING. They have bent greens which I love, but there are maybe 2 that are in iffy shape. I imagine during the golf season they’ll be much better taken care of. There wasn’t a cart girl on the course, but I’m assuming it was possibly because there wasn’t many people at the course (fear of rain). There were a couple of blind shots which I know for next time, but for the *Hot Deal* you couldn’t play a better course. Fairways were great, tee boxes were well manicured & the staff was very friendly.

I've played this course of number of times and it holds up well regardless of the season.

Well it is December, fairways moist. Lots of poana grass on the bumpy greens. Pace of play was horrible. Overall course layout is great. A much better course to play in the summer.
