Very slow
Nobody monitoring pace of play. Took over 5 hours to finish…
Great time to golf Wellen Park
Get out there while you can, before the clubhouse is finished, before they have a pro shop, and before they have actual bathrooms. It’s been as low as $29 during the week! Well worth that amount! Guarantee this course soars even higher than the $119 they charged this past winter once building is complete. I wouldn’t be surprised if they charge north of $150. For $29-$39 who cares if they don’t have bathrooms or cart service, or a clubhouse, or pro shop, who cares if the carts are ancient gas powered with no gps. The course itself is extremely well maintained, but again once they finish building the hundreds and hundreds of homes, you will actually feel as if you are playing in peoples living rooms. Haha.

Course was in good condition, well maintained. Greens are challenging. Enjoyed playing there.
A drought doubters dream
All the courses in the Sarasota County area are hurting because of the severe drought. But Wellen Park has not been affected one bit. The fairways are green and soft and the greens are perfect. The staff is second to none. We will return as often as possible.
Despite the neighbor hood still being built around this course , it’s great time and course to play will definitely come back.
Great Course
The starter was definitely NOT knowledgeable!!!!!! He put out Twosome and a single in between two foursomes ..let two other of early???
Great layout, fast play
The layout offers something for everyone, safe zones to hit or take risks to set up a birdie opportunity. The staff is very friendly. The clubhouse is in process and will be a welcome change from the trailer.
Very nice course
Course was in excellent condition, it was a pleasure playing there. The course was somewhat challenging mainly because of a few long holes.
