Bobby Jones Golf Club - Championship Course

I enjoyed the layout - course was in very good shape and really helped playing with someone who had played it before

All the par threes are long especially for women. We were behind the IMG jr. golfers and it was slow…almost five hours. Fairways are close to each other. There were a couple of close calls… a ball hit a cart and one narrowly missed a person. Not comfortable here. Employees were friendly and we liked the practice area.

We played at a reduced rate which was decent value. Rack rates, though are too high for this course.

I went on golf now.com and booked my tee time the night before. I was paired with two friendly and great golfers. They did not intimidate me during my round. The pace was great and the conditions were excellent. They even have a Par 3 course across the street. I’ll be back !

If I was course superintendent I'd be embarrassed. It's a new course, and it's already starting to deteriorate, slowly mind you, but you can tell where it's heading. And this idiotic idea of putting up a fence around parking so we can't drop our clubs is as stupid as stupid gets. Don't do it.

The rough needs to be cleaned up. I understand the hurricane but it's been a while.

If you're not on the fairway, your ball is pretty much lost. Don't like that you can't drive the cart to your car. No gps on the cart. Does not sinc up with Garmin gps.

My wife and I regularly use our Golf Now membership to try local courses. This was one of those adventures. The course was a municipal course which we knew. We were fortunate to be paired with another couple which was great.

B Jones has a great practice area. Unfortunately as elder golfers, the area is 1/8-1/4 mile from the parking lot! So we ask if there are carts available to use to get to the areas? The answer was no! Absolutely ridiculous considering there were 30 or so unused carts waiting for golfers that would never arrive to use them! My wife said she never wanted to visit that practice area again. My full bag weighs about 25 lbs and on this windy day it was very, very difficult to get to and return later to our vehicle. BJones should allow anyone over a certain age to use carts to access their practice area! inexcusable!
