Great Layout, nice condition..!!!
Played the course several times many years ago and always like the layout but the conditions were not good. Since the complete renovation the course is very nice and the layout is great. Only complaint is the price is a bit steep for summer play. $69 is a bit high and there are other courses in the area in a good or better condition for $50.
What a fun course!
Lots of elevation, beautiful layout and scenery. A true gem in Orlando. Staff is super friendly and there’s a Marshall in the course to help with pace of play. I recommend this fun course for all lever golfers.
Good course - not worth $70
Good/challenging course, friendly staff.
In my opinion not worth $70 compared to other courses in the Central Florida area. Fine at the $50 tier.
fantastic design compared with old course
very impressive changes from previous design. One suggestion for players......don't let the Gold tees fool you. 5500 normally seems like a short course, but anyone with around a 15 handicap should use the golds....elevations and hills add 5 to 8 strokes on to your score!
Tough, but fun
Course layout unlike typical Florida flatland. Fun and challenging at the same time. Post aeration greens rolled true. Only thing I would really critique is that there were large clumps of wet, cut grass throughout the rough that completely hid an off target shot. Staff were super!
Beautiful course
With an exception of a ranger possibly being there to remind groups to keep up the pace of play, I have no complaints.
Bill Rating
Terrific course and conditions. The most elevation changes I have seen Florida. Very scenic.
Beautiful Course
I’ve been playing this course for a long time and have seen multiple ownership and course name changes. We had not been back until recently because the conditions have been so bad but now the difference is amazing. Beautiful layout and now great tee boxes, fairways and greens. The course does have a challenge in that Hospital the rough is long and if you have a ball in it, you’re most likely to lose it. Wish they would cut that rough down a little bit for the average players to not lose so many balls and to speed up the round as people are looking for their balls on almost every hole. With that said, we will definitely be back.
First time in Clermont National
Clermont National is a challenging and beautifully designed course. The field conditions were excellent, except that the grass was too tall in the rough and the ball was easily lost or difficult to get out. The greens were in very good condition with an approximate speed of 10-11, which is very good for most players.
Great Shape, SLOW PACE
First time playing there since it was Sanctuary Ridge...the course is in great shape and the changes they've made are really good. The service was good, the price was decent, BUT the pace was horrible...a 9am tee time that took around 5 1/2 hours...it was just a bit too much....ranger presence was good but I think they overbooked the course (there were 44 golfers from a league on the course before 9am which forced us to start on hole 10). Yes, I recommend and definitely will like to come back (but pace needs to be in line with a 4 to 41/2 pace).
Clarmont National
The course was in good shape with the exception of the rough and spent way too much time looking for balls just off the fairway.
Pace of play was very slow as the course was hosting a small tournament and we unfortunately got stuck behind the tournament. They should have informed us as we like to play early to play fast and avoid the heat, but unfortunately the course owners only want to make money and the heck with the customer.
