About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Going down hill.
OMG ! Drought alert! They don't like to water the fairways! Overpriced for the current conditions! Miss San Geronimo.
Great value!
Just what I wrote- great value! It’s difficult to play a course for less than $90 in such great shape. The greens were nice, as were the fairways. The sand in the bunkers were consistent, at least the few my ball landed in. And the tee boxes were in pretty good shape too. I’ll definitely come back to this course.
Downhill trend continues
Greens still some of the best in Marin. Fairway and rough becoming in distinguishable. Either diseased or poorly cared for, no longer worth the money given other options in the area
Peacock Gap
we played on a Monday, so it was ladies' day, we got held up in traffic, but the ProShop helped us get out on the back 9 we were paired with two nice ladies and had a great time, the course is a little overpriced, the staff is great, and the range is nice, the course is out of the way for me at the top of my price range, conditions are great , course is good the greens are fast, the bunkers, I found 5 or 6 were wet and not very playable.

At present, the course is very dry so the ball will roll a long way.
Likewise, the greens are firm and fast!
If you can remember this, you will have a good round!
Nice course, scenic surroundings
Greens are in good condition, bunkers are maintained better than most courses and present fair obstacles and challenging to hit from as well. Fairways are pretty dry and could use more watering. Beautiful area and scenery to view as you ride around this course.
Course quality going downhill fast
Greens continue to be among the best in local public courses. The fairways and rough have taken a dive over the last three months - rough hasn't been cut, fairways are in bad shape and there's been a material worsening which is concerning.
Have heard the previous greenskeeper has left, which would make sense. But this is the worst shape the course has been in over the last few years.
Worst condition ever
This course is in such poor condition, it’s just pathetic.

Very nice
The course was generally in good shape though some fairways on the back 9 were dry, thin and quite weedy. Some bunkers had a good amount of grass inside and need more maintenance. The practice area has a grass driving range, chipping area, bunker and two greens--excellent! The cafe had good food. Played in about 4 hours on a Friday so very good pace. All in all very nice and I'd play it again.
