Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Great time
Course was in great condition. It was a nice and fun round.
If you like waiting between shots this course if for you!
The gap between tee times is only 8 minutes which results in 2 (up to 3) groups waiting for the green to clear on par 3.
And complaining to the marshal about the pace of play is useless, as the only response you get is "it's very busy today"...
They do not understand that 8 minutes between tee times is the reason why this course plays so slow..
Was expecting better
For the price it's not up to par (no pun intended). The fairways had many bare spots. The rough was out of control. It felt like the course was not where the money is going, I play at a lot of Bay Area courses and the is by far the bottom of that list.
Fun course, Illogical tee time spacing
I’ll elaborate, but the title says it all. The tee times are spaced out at 8 minutes which is just so stupid. You just wait forever. Literally two minutes would make a huge difference. Don’t have anywhere to be for five+ hours, and you’re good. The course is in good shape. The greens are fast and true without a lot of damage. That alone led me to believe the regulars are fairly respectable. The fairways are fairly uniform as far as grass goes, and the layout is friendly to a wide range of abilities. The practice areas are quite nice. Excellent putting greens at the first hole and down near the range with the lower one being adjacent to a chipping green. The range is grass and quite nice.
Very enjoyable round
Liked the layout . Plenty of bunkers. Relatively flat course but quite a few water hazards. Grass range is nice but not allow to hit drives over 220yds. Post round food and drinks are surprisingly delicious - top notch actually!
Not able to make reservation changes with my android
Peacock struts it’s colors!
Course has variety of play and is in excellent condition from tee to green. Excellent practice facilities now include a new short game range. 19th hole experience is also excellent offering a well-served menu and full bar set in a very comfortable and beautiful setting. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. A true gem in Marin county!
Cut the rough
To much time spent looking for balls within a foot or two of cart paths. The so-called native areas are anything but,, mostly uncut weeds.
Nice course that I should play more often
Found a hot deal on Golfnow that included a cart. Pace of play was about 4 hours for my 1 o’clock start. Green’s were decent, rough could be tall in places, bunkers were fair with sand in them.
How could reasonably figure the pace of play at this place is excellent? There’s no way you play here regularly.
