Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Nice track
Played here for the first time over the weekend with a couple buddies who are just getting into golf. Course was in good condition and was fairly easy - open fairways and not too many hazards.
Pace of play was good, got a bit backed up towards the end but finished in under 5 hours
Great Sunny Day
As old man in the group, it was fun to see hard swings with somewhat unpredictable results. Course is right in front of you. Relaxed and warm
TOO SLOW
The course seamed be good (we couldn't finish).
Every hole, we had to wait for 1-3 groups of teeing off. We started 2:34 pm, 6 pm at 10th hole. We had to leave.
Pace of Play
90 minutes to finish 5 holes. My entire group walked off the course as we made our way to the 6th with 3 groups waiting to tee off.
No ranger supervision and tight tee times are making this course hard to defend.
I’ve had this experience on back to back occasions. Sadly, not worth the money anymore.
Pace of Play Concerns
90 minutes to finish 5 holes and no ranger supervision to remind groups to keep pace.
I walked off the course after the 5th because 6 had 3 groups waiting to tee off.
Beware of teeing off anytime in the afternoon. Mornings before 8 am feel like the only way to finish 18 in under 4 1/2 hours.
Fun local course but I’ve had this experience on back to back occasions.
5 hour rounds are becoming the norm at Peacock
Pace of play is pretty bad at Peacock. They are trying to cram as many players as possible there. And they are unconcerned about getting people out of time. There was a player in front of me at check-in with a 10:14 tee time. It was 10:25 when he checked in and the employee didn't say anything to him. Pace of play was slow and you never see a marshal around.
Tight tee times, late check-ins and no marshaling lead to incredibly slow play.
Great course
The piece of plane was great, and the course was set up awesome with a lot of bunkers in strategic places. My buddy went first time Bertie Eagle I matched on Bertie Bertie. On 16/17
