Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Peacock Gap
Course is in good shape considering it’s just getting to spring and it was a rainy last couple days.
However a tree branch nearly killed me on the 15th hole. A eucalyptus tree branch fell into the right side of fairway and had I been 15 yards further up the hold on my second shot I’d have been killed.
Overall we love playing Peacock. We are all San Anselmo residents so we play all over Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco and Berkeley. But the proximity to Peacock allows an early tee time without the travel. The issue comes from the overall attitude on the course - starter to marshalls. We play fast and yet are continually made to feel like we need to pick up the pace. Today we played the 18 in 3:25. Walking the course.
Slow. Had to quit after 9
There was no start Marshall. There were no roaming Marshall’s to keep the play moving. We waited 15 min at each hole and quit after 9.
The course was challenging with par 5’s but very unorganized.
I will say it was great to see a diversity of cultures and youth at this course but we will not be back. Poorly run.
In great shape
Course is in really nice shape. Greens are firm and rolling fast but fair. Tee boxes and fairways are in nice shape and the sand in the bunkers is playabe. Close to 5hr rd on a Sun, packed, was to be expected and better than it could have been. PG is in good shape and would def play again.
Beautiful Course,
Well maintained
Quite Scenic..
Highly Recommend..
A Peacock isn't on the score card.
It is every nice course. The pro shop gentleman is very nice to me since I was the first time to play there. he introduced the practice location and .... I hope the score card have a pictures of the Peacock!
Heaviest wind of the year
Beautiful course, great pace even with the 65+mph gusts. Would enjoy playing this again under normal weather conditions. Made for some good laughs though! Super happy with an 88.
