Challenging course that is fun
San Ramon is a very nice course that is challenging.
It was a little warm but very nice to play.
Worth the drive !!
I live in san Jose and I would go back and play there again, I wish they had cold water on the course it was very hot, the greens were In good shape, my friend from concord also liked the course
Nice layout and conditions
I’ve never played a full 18 here before. I’ve played nine and tried to play 18 a couple of other times but the course backs up. The conditions were good and the greens were in great shape but the last 6 holes we waited on every shot.
Still good value and I’ll be back. Pro shop staff was very friendly.
Challenging course that is fun
San Ramon is a challenging course that is well maintained. It is not an easy course but it is fun.
Very Long Rough
Rough needs to be cut down, balls just barely off the fairway in the rough were difficult to find quite often.
Bunkers were in pretty poor shape, didnt look like they were even cleaned up day to day.
Pace of play can be quite bad at times, but this last trip was perfectly fine. 18 holes in just under 4 hours on a Sunday early afternoon.
Id recommend this course at a discounted rate, I would not pay the prime weekend rate of over $70 for this course as its maintained today.
Rough too long
The rough at this golf course is way too long it looks terribly maintained, golfed with a frequent golfer there and he said that they had just cut their rough the other week and during the summer they don’t cut it at all, my whole group had many balls lost due to ball rolling right through the fairway, into the rough, and never to be seen again.
Owner doesn’t maintain the course and wants to put in apartments
The fairways and tee boxes were long enough to be considered the rough, the rough was above ankle high with dead grass littered all over the course. Pace of play was slow, and didn’t see one Marshall the entire 5+ hour round.
I used to enjoy playing here and considered it a fair price. It is now trashed and overpriced. The fact that they think they can charge 70+ dollars is unbelievable. I had a hard time justifying the hot deal price of 30$ given the shape of the course.
Long story short , will not be back and would not recommend.
Course in poor condition today
Course in very poor condition. Piles of grass all over the place especially on the greens and first cut rough. Rough was way too long especially next to the fairways resulting in too many unnecessarily lost balls that should have been easily found. Groundskeepers don't seem to know what their doing. Definitely was not worth the price of admission and will not play there again for a very long time if ever.
excellent golfing on week days
I usually play week days Monday to Thurs , the course is in decent shape . puttting greens a little bit slow . overall its a great place to play a round and be able to hit all the club in your bag and finished 18 holes in less than 4hrs.
Wet Day
It was a wet day, but as soon as the sun comes out a drys up the course it is going to lay really well. it is is great shape.
Hole in one
I was paired with a lovely couple for a very enjoyable afternoon of golf which got even better when on the 17th hole I hit a hole-in-one
The course was in good condition we played in a little over four hours but with hitting my first ace this becameand awesome afternoon
nice value, nice pace, good conditions
For a Sunday afternoon hot deal it was perfect, good value, course in good shape, my game was
not, but still enjoyed the day, fairways, greens, and sand all in nice shape...it’s not always easy to find all three st the same course so kudos to the San Ramon Greens keeper staff.
This course is getting better for foucing my play. Thanks for operation and maintenance.
