Greens were just aerated and it did not specify on Golfnow. Otherwise excellent course... Will definitely return when greens are healed.
Fast greens
Fun layout. Not overly punishing if you miss a shot. Greens are sloped, extremely fast, but fun. Expect some 3 putts.
Thank you for your review! Yes, the green complexes are the main defense of the golf course when it comes to difficulty. The key to them is trying to stay below the hole, even if that means being just off a green.. Sometimes it is much easier to get it up and down from off the green versus trying to two putt from on it! Thanks again!
A Well Maintain Golf Course
My wife and I loved the wide fairways on the 1st 9 and the changing topography & elevational challenge on 2nd 9. The green is rolled well and the fairways are well trimmed
Overall, this is an excellent course.
Nice course
Felt a little rushed other than that nice course would consider walking next time as the course was cart path only and not much help would’ve been easier to walk also the cart keeps track of your time on each hole
please play faster
Thanks for playing with us and for your comments. I'm sorry you felt rushed. Our 18-hole pace of play is 4 hours and 12 minutes and we do our best to keep groups moving at that pace. I'm sure it being cart path only contributed to your feelings of being rushed. We had gotten over 2 inches of rain the previous three days before you played. Our course is a fantastic walking venue and we hope you come back soon to give it another try. Thanks!
Great track
The UGA course is impeccable.
All 18 holes are challenging, yet not too unfair, and memorable. Thoroughly enjoyed this from 1st tee to 18th green. The few holes just after the turn are superb and feel like Augusta!
My only qualm with this course would be the club house facilities are not what you’d expect of such a great course. Could do with some modernisation and better catering facilities.

College courses are interesting animals, their natures dictated by several different factors like location, school size and golf team prestige and funding. In UGA's case, all those factors are present to a significant extent, which means the course has many masters to serve.
As a place for top-tier college golf teams to hone their skills, it succeeds, because the layout is tough but fair, although a bit more variety couldn't hurt. Conditions-wise, it's good but the bent grass greens show signs of significant stress, especially late in the day given the amount of play from students, staff and other area residents. Nevertheless, it is a fine place to play, with the cute back Bulldog tee markers reminding golfers who's top Dawg.
Thank you for your review! As stated in a previous comment, fall 2019 was one of the hottest on record and our bentgrass greens did suffer somewhat. Thank goodness for our fans. Without them the stress to the greens would have been much greater. Thanks again!

This a great course, would love to play when greens firm up , and no top dressing staff very friendly
Thanks for your comments! This past fall was one of the hottest on record and forced us to keep the fans on through October. We also had to push the venting and topdressing much later into the year than usual. Thanks again!

Great deal on golf now...no wait played a round in 3 hours. Love the new fans to keep the bent grass from spoting out in the heat. Word of warning wait for the fan to pass before putting. Course was in good condition. Students please fix your ball mark.!?
And they have new carts,with GPS. Nice when they work. First time out no problem. This last time some kind of teck problem. What to do? !!! Coash Mike to the rescue...he handed off his cart which was working..

Thanks for your review! Glad to hear Coach Mike helped remedy your GPS issues. We had some network issues throughout the fall that caused some glitches on course. That issue has been fixed and the GPS should be more consistent now. Amen on the ball marks!! We give out divot repair tools at the starter building trying to increase awareness. Thanks again!
Simply the best course around. The back 9 layout is terrific & the pace of play is always good. Wish that I lived closer. Would have a world class facility if the club house & range were improved.

Good course. Greens were not up to par from the last few times Ive played it. Nobody fixes their ball marks and they were slower than usual. Rest of course was perfect. Still a great day

I've played the UGA golf course today. It's is one of the best course in Atlanata area. I highly recommend this course.
