HOLE IN ONE
I got my first Hole-in-One on 13. I’m 58 and thought it would never happen so I’ll always remember this great course.
Slow play, ridiculously pins
Five hour round. Consistent with other reviews. My advice is to not pretend every golfer plays for AU. Several pins were cut on ledges you see in major USGA events. Stop cutting holes in ridiculous spots.

Why no starter or marshals?
I have nothing but good things to say about the course. But on a Saturday, with a full tee sheet and some slow players, this was one of the most frustrating rounds I’ve ever played.
Two foursomes went to the clubhouse for 15-20 minutes and then came back to #10, practically paralyzing the back nine.
Oh, and don’t forget the guy who insisted on taking two shots from the fairway with everyone backed up.

Fabulous course
Great course, friendly staff and great value.
We could have done with a Marshall as there was a very slow group holding up the whole course, otherwise a great experience. Definitely would play again and recommend to others.

Amazing course, great value
Instantly up to my top 3 in the area. Great course. High quality greens. Layout great. Pace was good at 9:04 tee for a 3 some. Very highly recommend this course.

OVERCROWDED
Unless you have all day stay away. Too slow, too many people, too many walkers, no range marshall to monitor pace, 6 1/2 hours, 10-20 minutes wait in between holes, 10-20 wait in between shots, when we made the turn at 9 we had 5 groups ahead of us another 45 minute wait. Mind you this is on a Tuesday midday.

Too too crowded
6 hours to play because of slow players, too many walkers, too crowded, and a Marshall would be nice in order to speed things up. Mind you this was on a Tuesday midday. Stay away unless you have all day.

Forest Hills
Course is in fantastic condition for May! Greens are immaculate, best I've ever seen them. Tees and fairways good to great. I need to play here more often. Pace was 5.5 hours on a Saturday afternoon, not what you want but somewhat expected due to nice weather, course difficulty and following an Amateur event.

Great course to play if going to Augusta
Played this gem when going to the Masters. Beautiful course with excellent elevations- greens rolled true which is great cause they are fast. Beverage cart girls were nice and beers were very reasonably priced. The kitchen made some good fried fish also. Will definitely play again when I return.
