Girls golf trip
The day was great for us The starter was easy and great Helped us any way he could The girls T the snack bar were great it would have been nice to have bathrooms on course and a drink cart

Fast greens, some unfair holes
Played in the Augusta City Amateur. Greens were running super fast which is fine but they cut the hole on No. 7 front right in a nearly impossible location. Some putts rolled back to you. The hole is tough enough at 230 yards which itself is too long but the hole as laid out was not a fair test of golf. Also the event was not a great value at $140. The Aiken City Amateur gives you free practice rounds all week paying only cart fee if you ride. Augusta only 1 round at cart fee. Plus more food and drinks in Aiken

Fast greens
Greens were a little firm but rolled fairly true. However, they were very fast and hole placement was in tricky locations for the average golfer.

Great Greens
1st time playing here...great greens!!! Slick & in immaculate condition. Nice fair layout....typical Donald Ross....lots of room off the tee & smallish undulating greens....but TRUE & fast!!! Honestly, course a bit rough around the edges....lots of washout areas & gullies along paths that could use a little TLC, and cart paths could use some work.......but tee boxes, fairways, bunkers & greens all pristine. Over an hour and a half drive to play, but for me, definitely worth the trip!!! Play it if you get the chance!!!! I'll be back!!!

Super fast green!!! Long course. Excellent test.
I haven’t played Forrest Hills in over 10 years. This course will challenge any golfer. Greens were so fast!!! Course has some serious elevation changes. Local course knowledge would have really helped my club selection. I can’t wait to play this Gem again.

Mature Traditional Gem ... alittle rainy.
Early teetime, 10am ... paired up with a couple young local TV reporters. Spacious, well manicured, elevation changes everywhere. Very enjoyable. Nice fairways .. nice greens. Rained alittle on holes 3 thru 7. Got alittle bunched up on the back nine. Not a fan of the GPS system which kept shutting down our cart even when we were still on the cartpaths! Very strange. All and all a pretty good day. You could just "feel" the history ... would DEF play again.

Great staff, pace of play and excellent course conditions. Highly enjoyed and recommend. The greens were very true and fast . Bunkers well maintained.

Best Course of a lifetime
I drove up from Florida to meet my Uncles, Brother and a Friend. They were coming from Atlanta and Cooumbia. Everyone was impressed they were all impressed with the beauty and challenge of this course. Great job.
