Pace of play was horrible if you have alot of time on your hands I would play there course is beautiful and historic b ut they need a Marshall to monitor pace it took me over 5 hours to play as a single because none of the big groups was courteous to let you play through

Forest Hills
Probably the nicest public golf course in Augusta. Course is in excellent condition. Visually beautiful course. The pace of play was slow.

Great course
The course is in excellent shape. The greens running fast and true. The only negative was we were a twosome and had a foursome in front. There was nobody in front of them but they would not let us play through. And they were not good golfers but took their time like they were PGA players.

Great course
Beautiful good course with very fast greens that roll true. Course is tough but fair one of my favorites.

Forest
Played two outstanding courses last week. Apple valley in lake lure and grove park in Asheville. Both were outstanding so this course could not compete. The front nine need work. The back nine was in very good shape. The cart paths were in very poor condition. The layout is good.
I thought Monday would not be busy but glorious weather so every golfEr came out.
Seems as if the course overbooked -very slow. Walker ahead also slowed the pace. My course does not allow walkers before 3.
Anyway paired me with a nice gentleman who knew the course ,was very helpful to me and a pleasure to play with. So I did have an enjoyable round.
I would recommend playing the course at the golf now. Discounted price. The value was good.

Excellent layout hampered by slow play and lazy golfers
As expected from a college course, this is a great layout with mostly excellent conditions. It was very crowded for a Saturday afternoon, and we had to wait for nearly every shot. And somewhere ahead of us, some lazy people were evidently digging their ball out of the holes with their putter, because nearly every hole had lip damage. This is obviously not the course’s fault, but still it made for a very frustrating condition.

Forest Hills nice course
Only got to play 4 holes. Rained hard for an hour and was unplayable after that. Tried to contact GolfNow about a credit, but it is virtually impossible to do.

We got rained out after 4 holes and can’t get anyone at Golfnow to talk to about a refund The club said we would have to go back to Golfnow for a refund. Very poor customer service from GolfNow.

Nice course, slow play
Great course in very good shape, but slow pace guys won't let you play thru ,they have a foursome in front of you and you have a threesome
