Applewood Golf Course

Al of the greens were aerated. Was not notified until i paid. Was given a voucher for 5$ off next round. This information should be displayed in flashing letters on the booking site so that people can make an informed decision.

Fairways are in great shape, and all the greens besides 18 and a few spots on others are in great shape and rolling true. My only complaint would be the driving range, just doesn’t have much good grass left, but for the money I don’t know if there is a better course in this area to play.

It’s always a gamble trying a new course, but Applewood was fantastic. The entire atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and welcoming to new customers. The course conditions were solid, with great fairways and consistent greens. It's an open, fun layout that doesn't overly punish you for minor mistakes, which made for a highly enjoyable first round. Excellent value and top-tier customer service!

I’m new to golfing and was looking for a welcoming place to learn the game. I’ve played here three times so far, and the pace of play has been excellent. Even as a single player, I sometimes catch up to other groups, but everyone has been courteous and let me play through. The fairways are wide, which is great for beginners—you don’t have to worry much about losing your ball off the tee. Some holes have water hazards that add a fun challenge to the round. A few greens have some sandy spots, but overall, the course is well-maintained and clean. The staff at the front desk are friendly and always answer the phone. They also offer a great deal on Mondays where you can play as much as you want for one price. The course marshal was helpful and even shared some tips when he learned I was new to golf

A 5-some in front of me had two elderly players who could barely walk. The shots they hit went 20 yards at best. People like this should not be on an 18 holes course. We have a par-3 course in the area.

The course is starting to look much better than it did a month ago. Coming together nicely

The greens are getting better. Other than the bare spots (which were marked ground under repair) they roll really nicely.

Course layout is fun, greens and some fairways could be in better shape as there is sand areas on half the greens. Course is good enough for the money you spend on it.

Played on misty rainy day so pace of play was very good. Greens were rough fairways a little sparse. Been very dry but recent rain should help. Plan on playing next week so I will see if it helped. Staff was warm and kind.

My husband and I have been going to this golf corde every weekend for awhile . We avoid certain places due to the fact that the pace is way too slow and they were booking too many tee times and it just made you lose interest . The last 2 out of 3 times my husband has quit his paid for rounds and left early due to every tee box behind so backed up . This corse under new owner ship has now come close to being compared to other corses and their over booking . The greens were beautiful when we started going now they are sub par . We will still play here but they. Need to re evaluate .

Greens were in bad shape… diseased and very hard likely due to the drought in this area, but putted fairly well for the most part. Fairways dry and lacking decent grass. Would play again at discounted rate.
