The greens hadn't settled in in from winter but it is a shot makers course. If you have a good iron game it will suit you fine.

Great staff, beautiful course. Pace of play was slow, but I attribute that to a frost delay in the morning that was difficult to recover from.

Man it's great when a club and its members respect their course and keep it in top shape. Tee to green this layout has it all, and you can't beat these bent grass greens in the winter. Now that I'm on the north side, this will be in my regular rotation.

I was greeted at the car by a staff member with the golf cart ready to load my clubs. Once we pulled up to the clubhouse, I was greeted by another staff member that told me about the architecture and that the course was cart path only that day. With the wet winter here in Georgia, I wasn't surprised. The range and putting area were nice. The starter gave us valuable course knowledge for two first timers to their course. The course had a great range of yardage including a combo tee that mixed blue and white tees. The front nine had several long par 4s that tested the long irons and fairway metals. The course had several holes that traversed a creek and lake system which proved challenging to my score. This is where there were some spots that could have used more drainage to dry the course more quickly. The back nine had a slightly easier layout, but was very scenic. The pace of play was fantastic for a weekend round. We finished in 4.5 hours. Overall the experience was fantastic and I would be happy to return this spring or summer.

It was a cart path only day making it a longer round than expected. The course was wet due to some rain the past few days but overall, I would recommend playing right now. Golf Now is exceptional providing great value for this course. If you can use Golf Now, I recommend it. Cheers and hit them staring.

After a day of rain on Friday and the cold condition we did not expect to find the course in great condition but it was a lot better than most courses after 2" of rain they have a good drainage system very few area of standing water in the fairways the bunker not been raked but a good drain system only 2 bunkers has water and the greens rolled great keep up the good work I be back Too Cold

From the clubhouse to the 18th green, this is a great course. I plan on making this one part of my rotation if you haven't tried it you are missing out

The course was in great shape for a late Fall day. The carts were new with the best seat I've ever sat on. The pace of play was good, about 4 1/4 hour round. I played the blue tees, and it challenged me with those long par fours. The front nine was tough, but the back nine played easier for me. It was my first time; I'd love to play it again.

This is a great course. I go every time there is a deal on golf now. It's only one mile from my home. I would like to join this club!

One of the nicest courses in then north metro Atlanta area. Very well run and outstanding course layout. Very fair, but yet challenging.

After looking at a few courses in the area, we decided to play Woodmont based off its higher slope/course rating. Overall for the end October the course was a great test in solid condition. We had fun on the short par 3's. Had fun figuring out how to putt over the buried elephants and learned approach shots into the par fives smallish greens had to be spot on. We will be back next summer!

I have played Woodmont several times and always thought it to be a very good course. It has been several years since the last time. When we checked in, the guy asked us if we wanted range balls, we said yes and paid the $7. We when got to the range there were more range balls there than you could count! Why would he charge us $7? The greens were in poor to fair shape, probably averaging 40 unrepaired ball marks each. The fairways were in average condition. The front nine took about two hours, the back three! From the eleventh tee, you can see all the way to the twelfth green. There were five groups on those two holes. Where were the marshals? There is a warning device on 14 now, which has a blind tee shot. This course could be excellent if someone would make the effort.

Cart path only, stuck behind 4 walkers, no marshals to be found. Finally skipped two holes and things got better, Still took over 4 hours.

At times there were 3 sets of golfers on one tee. There was no marshall in site and a call to the pro shop revealed that there was no Marshall on the course at all!

Woodmont is a very upscale community with a wonderful golf course. However it seems that the conditions of the course has suffered. The greens were very spotty with numerous quarter size dead spots in them. The cartpaths used to be edged and yesterday they were overgrown. Of course that does affect play just the appearance. The fairways were in good shape but there are obvious weeds creeping in. The addition of new golf carts was nice. It is still a favorite course of mine and I will be back.

We got a great rate due the greens being recently aerated. The other benefit was that nobody was on the course. We played 18 holes in almost four hours and that was at a casual pace. No rushing, but no hold ups either. the weather was gorgeous and other than the greens being a little bumpy, everything else was great. Love this course.

I play Woodmont quite often. One of my favorite courses in the area, as a matter of fact.

In the past, this course has always impressed me with it's great layout and good course conditions, but ever since the middle of summer, the greens are in just terrible shape.

I understand the summer was very hot, and the greens took a beating, but my round this last Monday was practically unplayable due to the greens conditions.

1. They had recently aerated, and were still very pock-marked, or downright covered in aeration holes. This was not mentioned on GolfNow when booking the round, so it was doubly disappointing when we played.

2. The grass length was just unacceptable. Nearly 3/4 of an inch of very furry grass all over the greens. There was seriously no way to judge speed on puts. They rolled and bumped and swam at the hole so bad, it was miserable.

Again, I really like this course, and recommend it to other golfers all the time, but it feels like the grounds crew isn't giving it their all lately. I would definitely not recommend it this or next week, until they get out there and get their greens in shape.
